Nice job! I bet you could do more based on the speed that went up.

As you already know I’m just here to troll, goof, and push peoples buttons.
This is a no-joke post…
You’ve really come along way strength wise since you joined TN.
Others have posted that you have great genetics, that’s BS. You have shit genetics.
Your impressive strength gain are all from kicking ass in the gym (determination) and monsterous eating habits.
Great job!
484 belted sumo deadlift with straps today. 2.75 bodyweight.

Thanks, I appreciate it greatly.
And I’ll be sure and tell Mom and Pop what you think of the genetics they gave me. :-)
Sorry, I should have added “for strength” to the end of that sentence.
Tell mom and pop pushharder that they have world class DNA.
I to have hope for you and Adult stem cell therapy. I really hope you do get to recover, but given your accident, you are lucky to be alive at all. Did you have an NDE??

Sorry I missed this post Pat! Speed is where things move at incredible rates, obviously. Maybe it is because I am a man and at 32 I still am ready for more. Cruisers have their time and place. Yet IMHO the same reason for NOT riding on the street applies. Other people can and often kill other people on bikes. Quick tangent, a guy who rode in MotoGP top level of motorcycle racing! for Yamaha, Norick Abe was in Japan, his home city, and a semi made an illegal U turn. Abe knew how to ride a motorcycle! Yet he still died on a bike.
The arm is totally dysfunctional. I have tons of hope for adult stem cell therapy, if our government would get the fuck out of the way and cease funding of embryonic stem cell research. The number is still zero in the embryonic department. Been a while since I last heard of the ASC side total tally. Six years ago it was over ten thousand!

Yeah, that’s the caveat. Of course, I am not rounding a corner at 140 with my knee on the ground, ever, either. I would prefer more of a cruising type bike…I leave the speed for cars. Weirdly, I love fast cars, but I never really was much for fast bikes. I bet you really don’t give a shit about cars…
How dysfunctional is the arm? Does it not move at all? Limited? Chance it may improve overtime?
need neck and back surgery, but these are my best lifts of the last 6 months or so:
deadlift 272kg x 1, 225kg x 11
back squat 200kgx6
front squat 220kg x 1 (belt and knee wraps)
power clean 150kg
jerk from rack 140kg
close grip bench press with pause at bottom 140kgx2
but I am a libertarian, which means I am always right about everything.
These are “need neck and back surgery” lifts?
Holy crap!!

I have two discs that are pressing on my cervical spine, causing pain and right arm numbness and weakness.
need a cervical fusion
low back “moderate to severe” stenosis, need to be cleaned out, and perhaps a micro-discectomy.
and Chushin, thanks for asking, it is sort of day to day. I have really decreased the loads, and trying more bb now…my log is in the Over 35 forum.
I had a 2 level fusion and laminectomy in July. Everything is fusing nicely, but I have edema in the lumbar musculature and that may not go away for another year or more :(. I am the exception, not the rule but the edema is extensive and due to the trauma of the incision.
Sadly, this means I am still on the DL…I can stair master, and elliptical, light lifting. At this point I am trying to just prevent lardassism…
Anyhoooo, let me know if you have any questions.
