I have a pic over at bodybuilding.com of me 2 months ago. dmaddox77 is the username. I will update that pic in 8 more weeks. Doing weights for 45 mins then doing 15 minutes of cardio 4 days a week and then doing 30 minutes of cardio and flexibility work one day a week.
You don’t look that bad in the pic, many success stories have started in worse spots, good luck! Keep us posted.

When you are 6’5" and a really large frame you can hold your weight pretty good. Even when I was 362 I still had a slight V shape it was really more rectangular but the bottom was smaller than the top.

Ya, I’m envious of the height man. Us 5’9" guys can’t gain any fat without looking like crap!

but short guys can lift tons of weight because of short levers.

HAHA, my body must have missed that memo
You’re right though. We do have an advantage in certain lifts.
I’m old and not training as regularly as I should be. But this week for bench I got 225 5x5 again. I did military press 3x10 at 135 (but I had to push press the last 4 on the 3rd set). Squats I’m feeling strong, but haven’t really gone heavy in awhile. I did 1x10@225 and 2x8@275 yesterday though. (Felt pretty bad doing it, but it was at the end of my training). DL I haven’t gone heavy in awhile…been throwing on 275 for reps. I’m sitting around 185lbs bw and doing 5x5 pullups with some ease. I’ve thrown on 25lbs on a chain last week and did pretty bad trying to go 4x6 I think.
Maybe I’ll get motivated and try to throw up a video sometime soon-ish
I squatted today 315. that was my max in high school when I was 18.
today’s squat workout.
135 x 3
185 x 3
225 x 5
245 x 5
265 x 5
285 x 5
305 x 3
315 x 1
Did RDLs 3x8, Leg Extensions 3x12, something else but do not know what it is called (worked glutes and outside legs near top of quads), and Seated Calf Raises 3x15

I sent a picture of a trap bar with 335 on it yesterday to Tiribulus. I have no clue how to post pictures here. I lifted it 3 times. Could have gone to 5-6, but stopped because of concern for my back.
I was laid up for 2 days unable to feel my legs. I was 362 lbs and on my way to 400, and it was hard to wipe my own butt, but this episode got me back in gear. It took my wife and I 2 hours to get to an urgent care facility because I was in so much pain. So much pain there was vomiting. Every bump in the road was painful, but I could not feel my legs. Probably should have called an ambulance. They gave me muscle relaxers, ibuprophen, and narcotics to help with everything. 2 days later I could feel my legs again, and was able to start moving a little. Another day and I was back to normal. 2 days later I was in the gym doing cardio. 2 months later doing weights. That was 9 months ago. I have lost 50 lbs total weight.
Monday I benched 265 lbs with no spot.
Tuesday I trap bared the 335 lbs for 3 reps.
Friday I am going to try and squat 315.
I have really been concentrating on my weak points, grip, hammies, glutes, back, and hip flexors. Still getting stronger, but not going to push it to the limit.
Just caught this…Great story.
Congratulations on getting your health back and finding your motivation again.
