Exactly right - your political opinions are completely invalid here unless you demonstrate that you “lift”.
On the other hand, if you post a video of you doing dumbbell presses in a sleeveless Under Armour shirt two sizes two small, then you can actually start your own threads.
I suggest we use this thread to settle any debates we’re unable to resolve. The guy/gal with the biggest lifts gets to be right.

Just sayin’
Best lifts so far:
Squat: 562
Bench: 419
Deadlift: 601
All in competition, drug free, at 6’5" and a bodyweight of 272 for the squat and deadlift, and 291 (after a shitload of beers…hey the meet was in Vegas!) for the bench.
Edit: Also 265 strict OHP at 265 bodyweight
Double Edit: Strict Curl is 176 (federation world record for my weight class actually…gonna take a run at the all-time federation record of 185 or so in 2013)
How long did it take you to get there if you don’t mind me asking?
I’ve been training since March 2009, so right at 3.5 years. That is a bit misleading though, since I played basketball in college so had some training experience there (though not as much as you would think) plus some in high school. But I hadn’t worked out in like 6 years prior March '09 and just sat around and ate pizzas instead. Now I go to the gym and eat pizzas.
Man, I’ve got some work to do. Seems like your built for strength. I’ve been training for almost purely strength the past 4 years and 2 years before that going through the newbie program hopping I don’t know what hell I’m doing kind of thing and this is where I’d estimate where I’m at by my working weights:
195-200lb
5’10"
185lb Press
385lb Squat
295lb Bench
490lb Pull
14 pull ups on a good day
bodyweight+100lb pull up
I really want that bw press, x2bw squat, x1.5bench, and x2.5bw pull. At least I’m almost there. Hopefully, I’ll get them all by February if not earlier.
Granted when I start 6 years ago, I was 145lb with the beginnings of a beer gut and a nearly concave chest. I had to start working out with bench with just the bar. But gains came quickly after that. Amazing what not drinking like a fish every other night, eating some real food, and getting a decent nights sleep will do for a person.

Bro you have come a helluva long way from that 145 lb weakling and are still making progress. That is what it’s all about. You needn’t be comparing your lifts to someone that is 80+ pounds heavier than you, that is just silly since there are so many other considerations that are outside of your control. Just make sure that you are taking small, measurable steps to reaching your goals. Each workout should be benefiting you in some regard (more weight on the bar, more reps, more sets, less rest, lighter bodyweight, “reduced mental stress”, etc.). If you structure each and every workout with some sort of goal, you will surely move to becoming the best you that you can be. And that is all that matters.
