Thanks dude, I think if I was fresh, and on an off day maybe, I could pull off 10 of those fuckers. It’s cool because I tried them a few months ago and looked worse than Maschy’s one (no offense dear) I practically smashed my head down on the negative and that was IT!

In the end I tried it facing the wall and facing away, and decided to face away.
When I face the wall I have the tendency to lean out turning it into a steep incline pushup.
Facing away keeps me more honest. ![]()
Oh that’s how you get in that position. Some guy told me to kick one foot in the air, then the other. I hurt my back doing it like that.

Didn’t do the push ups today, I started to but I could tell my shoulders where already over worked so it would be pointless. Instead I did a circuit of 3 rounds 20 reps on those push ups than 15 reps over head squat 95lbs and it sucked.
what’s up? awesome job everyone! i just tried the push ups and got 56 then tried the hspu and got 6 the first time and gave it another go and got 3 :/. o well i will keep on practicing each and probably do the ohp when i get home.
this is fun btw i love challenges like this. my buddy and i always have challenge each other like this at work. he asked if i could do a super push up, it’s a clap in front and behind you then the ground. it’s rough but i got one! see if y’all can do one?

go to the bottom of the page, pretty simple.
Not getting the facing away HSPU’s was bothering me, gave it another try started to lose balance as I locked out the 7th. So I got 6 than I did another 2 sets but could only manage 5 each time.
This was probably real smart to do before I try to get a Military press PR tomorrow morning.

I got the idea for the pushup style from the crossfit games and I also saw a video of how they count reps for HSPU’s. It involves marking the floor with tape based on how long your forearm is and if you touch the tape or if your feet spread out wider than the tape marks those reps dont count. Its supposed to make sure everyones ROM is the same (relative to their height/limb length)
anyone want to try the 20 minute pushup test?
check out your endurance… all part of conditioning. 2 minute test was power, now how about the endurance part of it?
