Got 5 on the HSPU did over 20 total trying to figure out how to be against the wall… going to rest up and try to get 7 or more on video tonight or tomorrow
ok I did my shirtless OHP (as required) attempt after my workout. I was lifting shirtless in the outdoor gym trying to get some sun anyway but I picked a bad spot to attempt my pressing because where I set the camera it was straight in the glare of the sun and you couldnt see anything. Pretty sucky and after my first attempt there was no chance of me doing it again. I’ll try again another day and next time I’ll be more mindful of which way the sun is shinning…

My HSPUs. This was my 4th set.
It’s not the best set, but it’s the best I could do with DOMS. I’ll do a better set Sunday if someone wants.
P.S. It’s night, hence the bad lighting and pajama bottoms.

just did 11 facing the wall which made my balance a lot easier.
You can see how graceful I am at the end, haha.
I’ll keep working on the facing away ones. I’ve been working on doing a free standing hand stand as well no where near it but it is a goal. My friend who was a gymnast as a kid was showing me how and busted out 5 free standing HSPUs despite not training at all. Humbling!

I was a gymnast as a kid… didn’t work for me. I can’t even do them not facing the wall. When I was younger, handstands came so easy… ugh.

Then, after my work sets, I gave these a shot and was surprised that I doubled my performace from the other day. Maybe fresh, and not as part of a workout, I could get 10.
I just took a video, pumped out 40 decent reps, go to pick up my camera and… full memory card. At 33seconds.
