Push Press vs Power Jerk

Technique question out of curiosity, but what is the difference between these two? Is it shoulder/tri involvement, lower body positioning at the finish, or leg drive and dip depth?

I think half the time my push press sets go from slightly cheated military presses to power jerks as fatigue sets in but I am a little unclear on the precise distinctions.

In a push press you use a leg drive to get the weight started but the arms do most of the work… once past the leg drive, the legs stay straight.

In a push jerk you basically throw the barbell in the air with a violent leg drive and then do a half squat to get under the bar. So the arms, beside participating in the initial drive, aren’t really pushing but simply “catching” the weight as you squat under.
