Absolutely unrelated, but last squat before the meet. Weight shifted up on the toes, so harder than it shoulda been, but overall wasn’t a tough 455. I tap the pins because that’s as low as I can get without removing them entirely (any “look” of bounce is unintentional, I just have come to enjoy not being crushed into a human black hole). Squat would be real tough to not get in a pissing match on here. But anyone who wants to unofficially, sans thread, race that one to 500, that’s what my sites are set on. Should be good for at least a 465 on meet day. Ok, back to your regularly scheduled program.

Well I pulled 500 in Febuary, and sadly, it hasn’t moved much since. I think this is just what I need to get the ball rolling! I’ve got a competition a week from Saturday, so I’ll see where it’s at then.
