I had a lifting partner and good buddy who got whipped by his girl and now they are married. He was an animal lifter and still is but has to now cut his workouts short to be home in time for his wife. It’s sad because I think he is afraid of disappointing her in the slightest possible way.
My other friend (mutual buddy between us) and I secretly refer to his wife as “Brad Wesley” from the movie Road House because of how demanding she is and how owned by her he seems to be.
When he leaves the gym early we both want to ask him “You got insurance don’t you?”

I read the other day that 75% of Japanese men get an allowance from their wives.
