Getting back to an earlier question… any idea what can be done on an individual level to start pushing things back the other direction?
Not necessarily regressive, but something that’s less harmful than what we have now.
(Meanwhile, I’m actually going to change my focus back to technology and progress and away from getting laid. Will see how that works out.)[/quote]
You wont get laid, thats how its going to work out, or at least at very unfavorable terms.
And, while I find the idea that we all get out our little buckets and try to turn back the tide charming and while I do enjoy the occasional Don Quichottery, I would rather not devote my life to it.

As for me, I’ve got the getting laid part figured out for now, at least until she moves for a job.
Which means I’m screwing around with paint and lighting and some naive voice-controlled artificial intelligence stuff.
And the only real reason things work out here is because her entire dating experience has consisted of long term relationships, and she really hasn’t learned how to play the field.
