I train under the west side parameters and I am about to deload this isn’t my first deload but last time I think I did too much and didn’t take full advantage of the deload. Was wondering if anyone else had guidelines as far as work done and conditioning?
ME/DE Upper- No bands or chains. Nothing for a max (unless it is a rep max with dumbbells). Cut the volume on assistance work by at least 50%
ME/DE Lower- Same as above, usually use sled dragging as a main movement.
Conditioning and extra workouts- maybe cut one or two sessions but this pretty much stays the same.

Every once in a while. The heavier I go on those the more I realize its a 6rm on not smashing the shit out of your pinkies when racking the bar.
