I’d like to solicit your thoughts on protein loading while deloading. It seems that although you’re (probably) still Training, you aren’t stressing your muscles overly much and, therefore, there shouldn’t be much breakdown to recover/rebuild from. Any need to continue high protein intake during this time/week?
I’m not talking about going to low protein…probably still consume 100g per day through normal meals, but I’m not sure the extra effort in terms of food preparation, eating and shakes is worth it during this week. Thoughts and/or experiences? Thanks!

Yeah, but you’re still lifting, and although not much, there might be some growth in this week. Growth doesn’t only happen while going balls to the wall all the time.

See above.

It’s doubtful you will lose any muscle from lower protein intake for a week, but I believe this whole thing is one of those things that is not worth looking into or practicing much. (Personal opinion.)
I’m sure there will be some varying opinions, but I’m totally okay with this approach. Like you said, you’re deloading, and you’re only doing it for a week. If anything, it’s at least a mental reset and you’re even more diligent about protein intake when you go back to regular training.
