Protein - get big diet

Hey all! Gotta question I was hoping you guys could help with. I was planning to start the Get Big diet next week in a new bulking program (I’m only about 6’, 160lbs, with about 12-15% BF and 3 years serious training experience), but I notice that in this diet only .8-1 g of protein/lb of body wt. are advised, whereas most other stuff I’ve read in T-mag indicates at least 1.5g of protein/lb of body wt. Should I up the protein content of the diet? Also, going by Massive Eating recommendations, I should eat about 3700 cal, but Get Big recommends only about 3100 (of which only 21% would come from protein by the criteria given in the article). Massive eating seems to take into account more metabolic factors, should I go with 3700 to start, or go with the lower value and work up? Thanks for any advice you can offer. T-mag rocks!

When i did this diet i went from 150 to 181 in 3 months. But i gained a shitload of fat. I would recomend that you subtract about 100carbs and add about 100 grams protien.
