Well I’m rockin in rollin on my training regimine.
Spread throughout a week my workouts are usually structured like this:
Climbing / Bouldering session + hangboard workout (pullups and hangs on different holds) x 2 per week
Tabata thrusters w/ 25lb dumbells x 2 per week (kicking my ass, best score is 6)
Lots of body PT throughout the week, pushups, pullups, direct ab work, lunges, single leg squats
Running : 3 times per week, 2 moderate pace moderate distance runs (3-4 miles 6 - 7 minute pace) and one speed workout (HIIT)
Random: lately I’ve been kayaking a lot, its relaxing when I’m in some random creek taking pictures of birds, and destroys my shoulders when im stroking hard.
Strict regimines don’t work for me for week-long month-long plans, I basically will make up my workout the day of, I try to keep it as interesting and different as possible to continually challenge my body.
Size hasn’t really changed much, on average it seems I haven’t put on any weight, but I don’t really care, I have been getting stronger.
Any suggestions for creative workouts? I’ve been making my last few workouts off of some www.gymjones.com stuff
