My car was basically running like shit the other day so I figured out that since I just got it, it may have been some time since anyone changed the oil out. I decided to go and change the oil. Anyway, I drain out the oil and noticed it was extremely dark and even after 10 minutes of draining, it was still coming out.
I decided to go ahead and flush it to make sure all the bad stuff got out. I hooked up the hose, ran water through the engine, started it up and was waiting for the water to come out clean (the engine never went above idle so this would be ok). About 3 minutes into this, then engine starts shaking and shuts off. I figured it was all cleaned out so I plugged it up, added the oil and figured I was ready to go. WRONG! The car won’t fucking start now. This car has been nothing but trouble for me, I think I am done with it. Anyone else had similar problems?
this reminds me of the time junior year of highschool a girl got a brand new eclipse convertible. first time going to fill it up she selected disel and filled the entire tank up.

that’s not as bad as draining the oil and filling with water while starting the engine, lol
I guess you could flush the engine out with water, fill it up with oil, then drain the oil out again to make sure there is no water spots left if you hate your car. A better way would have probably been to use 10W oil and some kerosene while letting the engine run for a little while and drain out any sludge. Running the engine with water is a big no no!
On a more serious note, I would pour some straight 30w diesel oil in there, spray some penetrating oil in the spark plug holes and turn it over by hand (breaker bar on the balancer pulley bolt). If you can get it to run, drive that pos straight to the junkyard and try to get $200 for it.
