So from what I have read Cro Cop, fedor, wanderlei are among the top MMA fighters. Who else would you consider to be among the top 5 best? Anyone from UFC? Could anyone make argument for who they think is #1 pound for pound.[/quote]
Here are p4p top 10 ranking list I made as part of a mma ranking on a website. This is a little over a month old and now I would drop Tanner off of the list and be tempted to bump up Hughes over Kawajiri.
P4P Rankings
I would have to say Fedor is #1 based on the fact that he has never cleanly lost a fight (his only loss is a TKO from Tsuyoshi Koshaka due to a cut early in the fight which was later avenged with a savage beating on TK) and his skill set is very complete. He weighs in at around 230lbs, but can move extremely quickly and explosively. He is a natural born fighter and a stone cold killer in the ring.

Conversley,
I saw a replay of Silvia vs. Rodriguez over the weekend. Damn Rodriguez’s face swelled up before he fell on the mat!
Silvia can put the lumber to ya, no doubt about it.

Great list. Do you think Franklin now cracks the top 10?
Hughes went up big in my book after his last fight with Trigg. To go from being nearly out to winning with a sub in about three minutes was amazing. I’d love to see a rematch with BJ but doesn’t sound like it will happen in the Octagon.
Agree with you on Silva/Hunt, but Silva’s last fight against Yoshida was very disappointing. I know Yoshida is tough but Silva did not look like himself.
Chuck Liddell is the best fighter around.

Chuck is an excelent fighter but I don’t think he is THE best. Liddell would have a very hard time with Wandy. Chuck is an excelent counterpuncher (that’s how he won against Randy) but Silva’s offence is to agressive to counterpunch. I’d be willing to say that Chuck would have a hard time with any MW from Chute Box.

Nothing like Bob Sapp dishin’ out a haymaker…

chuck liddell vs. tito ortiz
Liddell says he wants to fight Wanderlei Silva and that Couture vs Liddell III is a good possibility. Any predictions for these fights if they do happen?

Silva after being kicked by Cro cop

That would hurt a lot.
Mirko filipovic said in an interview that a fight with Fedor has been confirmed for August. He said he would rather have faught Fedor in his upcoming match instead of Magomedov, but he said he will use this match to send Fedor a message of pain.
Mirko Cro Cop and Fedor would be so good to watch. I like both fighters a lot and can’ttt wait to see it. Does Fedor, or Mirko…or Wanderlei Silva…do they acutally do roids?
Another thing Kimbo Slice vs. the other black guy is a good fight. Sean Gannon vs. Kimbo Slice…ive heard TONS about it but have never seen it: DOES ANYONE HAVE A LINK TO THIS FIGHT THAT I CAN GET FOR FREE!?
One more thing…I hear Sean Gannon…since he is a cop and a mma fighter. He is going to the UFC in June…which is this month or so…something like that…he’s getting some kinda contract with the UFC…id like to see what will happen
dl- fighting 101
Couture vs Liddell 1
That Liddell Vs Ortiz fight was sweet. Liddell nailed Ortiz right between the eyes so hard I was having sympathy pains.

Who won that fight with Frye in it?
And why would anyone “miss” Don Frye, did he retire?

Frye won that fight. Yoshihiro Takayama’s face looked horrid! His last fight was 12/31/2004 in K-1. He’s been on a loosing streak since he took out Takayama, and that was in 2002. He hasn’t fought in PrideFC since 2003.
