$42 for a 10ml bottle of test cyp 250mg per ml online
So I’ve started the process with Peak, It’s pretty expensive. I can’t remember how much the Test is, it’s a relatively decent price but they charge you a monthly “membership fee” so it ends up being kinda outrageous. Once I finally get the prescription (had to re-do my labs for HCT) I will update on pricing.
I certainly think many if not most people need guidance with TRT. Many want to stay legal as well. However, doing DIY TRT is extremely cheap. Test for a year is under $150. Comprehensive labs bought online are under $300 (if purchased as a package).
What I did is work with a reputable clinic, and learned as much as I could from them, here on T-Nation, and a few powerlifter friends that do the same. After a little over a year I just started the DIY route.
The biggest things are sourcing test, and staying motivated to do your health check ups and blood work.
wish I could find it that cheap
Well, I think for most people working with a clinic or Dr. is the best (at least to start with).
I actually rounded up on my costs as I figured most pay more than I do. I pay just under $20 for a 10 mL bottle of Test E 250. A whole year taking 200 mg/wk is actually under $100.
You can find these type of deals if you look around on the internet. Steroid forums will likely have price lists. You can try some out, and get blood work to confirm it is legit.
I encourage you to learn a lot before considering this path though. I stuck with the clinic for over a year, and spent a lot of time researching. At the end of the day it isn’t that complicated, but it is important to not have big gaping holes in your knowledge.
Well, I actually started out working with a dr about 15 years ago. Only recently started down the path with Peak. I don’t know as much as some of you guys but I know a lot. Tried to go the online route and got scammed twice. Not actually a site, but posters on IG… I’m 48
I think if you find a reputable steroid forum, your odds are a lot better than on IG. There will still be shills. If the forum is good, it won’t keep sources that are ripping people off or selling bad product.
It takes research to do though.
Roger that.
Any one who is getting prescribed through telehealth in another state, and having it covered by insurance/goodrx, please let me know which provider you are using. Mine is in Florida (Defy Medical), and it seems they do not offer this on Test & HCG. @swoops39 - Can you share your provider?
Thanks
Rejuvenation Care Clinic
If you need a telemedicine TRT Doc I can hook you up with mine. It’s $150/month and all done over the phone.
The $150/month includes: your prescription (220mg week - 5ml x 2 - 220mg/ml), syringes, alcohol swabs, Anastrozole I don’t take it, labs and shipping.
It’s shipped to you every 8 weeks or so. There’s other clinics similarly priced that I’m sure are fine but the reason I recommend mine to everyone is that you pretty much get to do whatever you want without having to worry about your script being pulled and they basically give you 220mg/week to do as you please. You can save what you don’t use for when the apocalypse hits. You can get prescribed easier than most clinics that require you to be below a certain T level to get on TRT (my total T level was 575 pre-TRT).
The testosterone is made by a very reputable compound pharmacy made specifically for you. I’ve never had any issues with consistency which I’ve had in the past from other sources. Plus they have a ton of clients so they aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Basically I recommend them because I never have to worry about TRT. I’ve read plenty of stories where folks are forced to take an AI or get their script pulled for reasons that don’t seem called for.
If you need their info email me (in bio).
Just shot you an email.
The latest on this:
My insurance will not approve Testosterone given my current levels. My levels are in good range BECAUSE I have been taking TRT. Before, my total testosterone was around 300 (264-913) and free Testosterone was was always 7.2-8 (8.7-25.1). GIven my current levels are in good range (with TRT), my local prescriber said I would need to go off the TRT, and the insurance company is requiring two labs in order to approve covering Testosterone. Has anyone else ran into this problem?
Even if I go off of TRT, it remains in question what numbers they will need to see in order to cover the medication, and I’m not even sure how long I would need to go to plummet my testosterone. I’ve never had a blood lab show that I was under TOTAL testosterone, which I’m assuming the insurance company will look at. Am I just forced to keep paying for testosterone without insurance coverage?
They DID cover HCG, but it came out to be about the same price that I’m paying with Defy Medical. Has anyone who mentioned GoodRx been able to get large discounted Testosterone and/or HCG?
You don’t need insurance with good rx. Check good rx see who has the better price and tell you Dr to send them the script
In my area just looked $42 at walgreens for 10ml
I ran into this with Kaiser, because they hate TRT for some reason. UHC literally doesn’t care about my levels, they’ve covered everything from the start.
Yeah, I don’t think my insurance (bcbs) would pay for testosterone either despite having test levels at 170ng/dl or lower.
I used good rx at the time.
I’m with Defy now, and yes it’s more expensive, but I definitely am feeling a lot better, so I’m willing to pay more, at least for a while, to the company that helped me get my life back.
That’s because Kaiser is the scum of the earth
Interesting update - Testosterone Cypionate would not be covered by my insurace (BCBS) BUT, with Goodrx, the total for a 10ml vial is $11. Great stuff.
HOWEVER, my HCG is covered by insurance, but is $96. This is basically the same as I was paying Defy for my HCG. WIth GoodRx, it’s more expensive. The medication is labeled “Pregnyl.” Is there another option to pay less for HCG?
Yes, you can get it shipped from India over the counter. $5-15 for 5000iu vials. It’s prescription grade, not ugl. Not an issue legally since it’s not controlled. I’ve had my packages opened before and still make it to my house just fine.
@galgenstrick Where would I look into what you mentioned?
