In my offseason right now and then planning to do my first competition and looking for cycle recommendations
I was thinking test, eq, proviron or anavar or tbol.
Can anyone give me dosages and recommendations on what oral would work the best. I’ve seen people talking about running eq at 600mg/wk but I was thinking 300-400mg/wk.
Anything is appreciated
From my experience (though I never used Tbol), I would use Anavar for the final weeks prior to the competition.
More than four weeks out, IMO it doesn’t make much difference (if you know your body.) This being your first contest maybe 8 weeks out would be the minimum.
Dosage recommendations can only be done when you post pics. Otherwise all the dosage talk is irrelevant. Depending on the physique dosages range from 0.5g to 3g total.
It depends. If you done a few cycles, how old were you when you started?
The earlier you started the less muscle you have built with your own hormones. That isn’t ideal.
IMO, if you have two or three good training years under your belt, a case can be made for adding AAS.
But I would start rather low dosage. Get those easy gains while minimizing the health risks. If you are going to respond well to AAS, you will respond to low dosage (say a little less than 500mg/wk.)
In a few years it will take a little more to add more muscle.
Questions:
How old were you when you took your fist cycle?
How many cycles have you done?
How long were the cycles and how much time are you off cycle?
I started when I was 18 (400 test 40 anavar) and one 400mg test. On my 3rd cycle rn 2 weeks in 500mg test, 315mg npp, 30mg dbol. Before touching peds my bench was 225 and now it is 295 for 3 reps. Between cycles was 4 months and I cruised at 125mg per week and blood work came back great besides my estrogen being on the higher side but I added in aromasin for this cycle to combat that.
I started my use of PEDS with trt because my test levels crashed from taking some bs prohormones for 4 weeks when i was 16 and my test never recovered and was 275ng/dl for a year and a half which left me depressed, unmotivated and with nothing working downstairs
Your chances are much better in Men’s Physique.
At 6’2” your legs will be a major challenge to look big on stage. But IMO, bodybuilding is what you should strive to excel.
The end goal is bodybuilding but definitely don’t have the size to be on that stage. I was concerned about my legs, I wouldn’t say they are small but not big either will definitely take some years to get them up to classic standards.
I squat 355 for 10 reps with 1 or 2 left in the tank just because I don’t have a spotter 90% of the time. I’m competing in both classes yes. I’m working with my coach right now to get as much size on as I can during this cycle and we’re going from there but I plan on competing some time in august. As far as calf growth I do 4-10 sets twice per week seated calf raise and standing calf raise both high reps around 15-20.
When I say time under tension, I am not talking about number of reps. Also, IMO, you need to minimize the stretch reflex power in your calves. That is, stop at the stretched position and then ease it up the first half second. Hold the flexed position 2 to 3 seconds. It should take 90 seconds to do 12 to 15 reps. Rest 60 seconds between 90 second sets.
Will definitely give that a try, are you familiar with dbol and npp, not seeing much although I’m just about to be 2 weeks in. Definitely stronger which I know is from the dbol but am not holding much water or putting on a crazy amount of weight. Have not noticed any physical changes either
Those are two of my favorites. D-bol is the best bang for the buck, IMO.
I never got the excessive fluid that many talk about. But I never took very high doses. I always noticed strength gains about the tenth day after starting D-bol.
But is more difficult to get a clean look for the show on D-bol. It gives a wetter look than Anavar.
That would be hard to say. The only noticeable strength was with the oral or a combination of the stack, usually ten days in. Once I added testosterone to my stacks, I always took testosterone with an injectable anabolic and an oral anabolic.
With all these going at once, I couldn’t notice a difference between the AAS.
Many on the forum have done some research that might help. I have taken a multitude of AAS cycles over 3 decades competing, close to 100, or so. All cycles seemed similar in what I experienced.
Least effective AAS that I have experienced are Proviron and Equipoise. But those are just my opinion.
Obviously Tren is a class by itself. I didn’t come around Tren until the 1990’s.
Deca was my injectable anabolic of choice. I also liked Winstrol V. I did a few cycles of Methandriol that I liked. It was the injectable anabolic that I used for the 1979 Jr USA that I won my class. Most on the forum that know of Methandriol say it is extremely weak. (I was disappointed every time I attempted Equipoise.)
