Pre-Thanksgiving Meal Workout

Just got back from the gym …

Squats - 4 sets x 10 @ 225 lbs

Dumbbell Bench @ 80 lbs
superset with
DB Flyes - 4 sets x 10 @ 40 lbs

Deadlifts - 4 sets x 10 @ 315 lbs

Military BB press - 4 sets x 10 @ 135 lbs

BB Curls - 4 sets x 10 @ 100 lbs

Not bad for a 49 year-old!

Bring on the turkey and veggies! I’ll passed on the sweet potatos with marshmellow topping.

Remember White-meat - colored veggies - water - and only one slice of pumpkin pie (no whipped cream!)

Front squats
5x5 135, 185, 225, 225, 225 (only got 3)

OH Press (Bastard child of Military and push press)
5x5 95, 135, 185, 185, 135 (did 10 for the last set)

BB Row
3x8 135, 185, 205

Lateral raises, one big set, started with the 40’s and went down the rack until I was just waving my hands up and down. I looked cool.

Plate pinches, 2 25’s to failure and swapped hands x a billion.

I’m actually deep frying my turkey right now. Looking forward to that with some pork stuffing, gravy, and mashed garlic potatoes. Followed by beer and brownies.
