Karwoski was great in that. He seemed like a prick but I love it. I’m going to go squat my 200lbs and feel like a pussy.
I bet Karwoski had a 200lbs max once in his life as well.[/quote]

My favorite part of the movie was when Kirk started talking about how he’d throw your stuff out if he sees it in his squat rack. Very inspirational for me.

Thanks to the OP for posting the link. I had heard of the movie ever since before it came out, but I had never actually had a chance to watch it.
I think it’s a great movie for outsiders to the sport and I think it also has some cool shit that those within the sport can appreciate. The Lee Moran segment was awesome. The only the downside to the movie is that is seems rooted in a couple particular settings- the USPF of the 80s/early 90s and the recent past on the West Coast- that miss much of the larger picture of the sport. There are really so many stories to tell. I thought Kirk Karwoski came off as kind of a jackoff. Surprising- because I’ve heard he’s a good dude in real life.
