reverse hypers, ice and stretch. I have noticed that when I do reverse hypers, there will be that one set that really relieves all of the pain. it is a combination of stregthening and stretching, but there is usually one set that just that takes away all the tension. you will know it when you feel it. Stole my answer. So I’ll have to agree. Lot’s of ice, hypers, reverse hypers, and light repetition good mornings to rehab it. Try to add a little muscle mass back there as a prehab, and ALWAYS work up to heavy sets, never jump on anything higher than 135(or whatever the standard bar is + 45 on each side). Warm up, work up, stretch. Best of luck to ya.

Antibiotics are for bacterial (non-viral) infections. They have no effect on musclular pain or disorder.
It would really be nice if the answer was always as simple as “stretch” or “reverse hypers,” wouldn’t it?
As much as it might undermine internet fun, diagnoses aren’t this easy to come by, and corrective programming is a bigger challenge (especially considering he’s dealing with a unilateral problem).
From the sounds of it, you’ve got an SI joint issue. They happen, go away after 2-4 weeks, and then come back down the road if you don’t do anything about them.
got to a physio and get it checked out, sounds like it could be sciatica, the sciatic nerve runs down your leg and when its inflammed the pain usually shoots up into your back,
