Thanks, I’m glad to be making progress

Crippler enjoying girlie drinks. If that’s his secret supplement, then it’s time for a “feminine alcohol mind reset”.

I think it more interesting that your daughter wants to go drinking. From how you describe her, she probably needs you as her bodyguard.

And finally, you don’t lift like a cancer survivor. Your former lifting totals will surely reappear at your age with consistent workouts. No kidding. I peaked around 58- 60.

Maybe he has a special way of ordering those drinks, Peaking after age 58 is encouraging.

Nice work on that last session. Solid number on deads and RDLs. And DB rows for that matter. I probably just don’t know the reference weight for the other lifts or I would say those were great too.

Thanks

Yes. He is doing very, very well. Impressive as heck, even without the cancer to recover from.

Over a year ago a large young man walked up to me in the gym and said “ some day I want to be as strong as you, just 100lbs lighter”. I never figured out if that was a compliment. I saw him today and he is making good progress.

It was 1yr ago today that some guy in a white jacket told me I had cancer. I did not see that coming. I did not tell anyone right away because my kids just lost their mom. I started off this year sick as a dog because of it. Now I am having the time of my life. I’m spending time with an incredible lady that I have a tremendous amount of respect for.( Life is a trip). Funny thing is that the diagnosis is what lit the fire under my butt to reach out to her. With in a couple of hours of leaving the doctors office.

Nice work put in today. Sounds like you are making the best out of a crappy situation and it continues to work out for the best for you. Attitude really does make a huge difference.
