I started lifting in 2007 in my basement. I was limited to squatting whatever I could lift over my head. I bought this half rack and used it for 2yrs, till I joined the gym. I moved it to the garage when COVID started and started using it again.

For last 2 plus years it’s just been unused and taking up space in the garage. Friday I finally took it to the salvage yard.

Should have thrown it on marketplace and made a quick $100

What CL said. I’d buy that.

You guys are right. I had been back and forth so many times on keeping or getting rid of it. Last week I said it’s gone today. I had sold the dumbbells on FB Marketplace. I bought those new and didn’t lose any money when I sold them.

Had never heard of no spend November. Which is not surprising… :joy: Very impressive. I don’t think I’ll ever get rid of my home gym equipment. If nothing else I’d just pile it in the corner in case I ever needed it. At this point my wife is probably mad that I keep buying home gym stuff even though I go to a gym. Ha ha ha…

I’m sure your wife is happy you’re training. I had not heard of it before either. It was a challenge/test and something different.

@hit_sirloin I got that massage you recommended today. I feel good. I’m not familiar with massage etiquette. I resisted saying out loud “Oh That Feels Good “. She has strong hands and did a good job of rotating from comfort to discomfort. The way she drove her elbows into my glutes, I thought I might have some bruises. I feel loosened up. Good recommendation.

Oh boy! Not a chance here. We did get a good rain last night and the wind blew all that horrible humidity out.
56 and mostly sunny tomorrow. Sounds perfect for Texas.
