re: squatting accident drawing.

Dude, you were wearing a bearskin shako and trying to squat? j/k

Seriously though: that looks like it was painful.
How long ago was it, and how did it happen?

Hehe, i guess i didn`t look exactly like the drawing, but perhaps it is possible to see what happened.

I didn`t use locks on the bar, because i was where sure of the weight. And a little bit stressed because of time before start etc.

When walking out the weights began to slide a little of the bar. Neither me or the spotters noticed it and i started to squat.
When hitting the lower position in the squat, and at the beginning of the ascend, the weights fell of the bare first on the left side then to the right. The spotters didnt see it coming and didnt have time to react.
Not so painful at the time it happened, but i have felt a lot of pain from it since.

It happened mars 2004.
still causing quite a bit of pain.
But thats because i don`t know the meaning of the word recovery training.

In other words April is a good month

Christiansand is about 3 hours away from my home town.
I was there this summer on a rock festival. The weather wasn’t all that though… Had to evacuate our camp after the “Queens of the stone age” concert and spend the night in my car due to heavy rain all week

Summers in Norway just ain`t that good :stuck_out_tongue:

A year old clip.
