Powerful/T-Vixen Women Speak Up Please

What do you expect?

It is up to the forum members to have qulity discussion, not TC.

I don’t think it is a matter of trolling that is bringing it down, merely a dearth of women that want to post on the subject.

Having a female powerlifter as a PI isn’t going to change a damned thing about that.

If you want a quality female powerlifting forum you need to make quality posts.

What I have heard from most women is:
Would love to see the occasional article written by a female STRENGTH athlete.
Would love to see the occasional article written about a female strength athlete.
Thinking out loud: For example Melanie Roach. Have you read her story? Inspirational to ANYONE male or female. She trains hard. Lifts heavy. She’s an Olympic Weightlifter.

Is there a male strength athlete T-Nation has profiled besides Dave Tate?

Dude! I’m trying to stop the arguing and back and forth between the men and the women. It’s been done to death! I created this thread simply to have the women state their opinion, hopefully for the last time and thankfully TC offered to hear it.

This was done to death long ago, that is why this specific forum was created. You are also more than welcome to post in the general forums.

The arguing between the men and women on the T-Cell Alpha was because some women used it as a place to voice their complaints that there were not enough dick pictures on this site. I know it is hard to believe but that is the truth. That caused many male posters to lose respect for some of the females here.

I am on the side of the women that like to lift heavy weights.

Many of the complaints I have seen are not justified. T-Nation does not profile many strength athletes as it is. To complain that it is not profiling female strength athletes comes across as whining. This does not help the cause.

I have to agree with Zap here. When something has been requested, it’s been given. I don’t understand the issue. You can boo me if you like but I can take it.

Are you stepping up to the plate and volunteering one?

Just to make this forum a better place, and to keep everyone happy.

Come on, M! You know there’s not enough room on the side of the screen. Haven’t you heard yet?

I was at a reunion this weekend and one of my buddies sent a cell phone picture of my dick to his gf. It took two transmissions.

In order to prevent getting lynched or having this thread tossed into SAMA, I say, just send it to me.

Okay, I’ll stop now.

My philosophy is: give them something to talk about. So, beginning this week, after speaking with my coach, I’m going to be keeping a training log here in an effort to try to contribute something.

Me too. Most of the logs I have followed here have disappeared.

MsM and Yo Momma,

I really don’t post my training anywhere anymore. Partly because the coach I am working with precludes me from doing so. I can post video and and the weights I am using, but as far as my training per se, no can do. :frowning: It really is not interesting reading any ways. But if it will help get this place back on track I will do so as well. It would be nice to see you posting again MsM! Missed your posts alot. (as well as G’em, proxy and a couple of others that seem to have fallen off the T-Nation list)

Your videos would be great, as they are informative and inspirational to me. Thanks.

Thanks Yo Momma. I will start posting them then. :0)

Hey Zap,

this forum was created when the Muscle Sorority was moved completely offsite. sic, firebug, Mufasa and I were the ones that expressed our dismay and disappointment that the women’s forum was taken completely off the site.

It had nothing to do with dick pics.

We also were requesting less moderation as some of the men were having either their posts edited or deleted as being deemed too harsh for the women’s forum. So although we were seeking advice and tips and honest critiques we were getting a watered down version.

Unfortunately the rallying cry came when the TILF thread that had been in the Muscle Sorority forum was heavily moderated. That was just the tipper.

We couldn’t post deleted critiques or our own deleted posts as they were deleted.

We just wanted a forum for our training threads, our logs, our topics that wasn’t moderated to protect our female sensibilities and we wanted it on the site.

Now maybe if there had never been a woman’s forum on here it wouldn’t have been an issue in the first place. But there was a forum and was removed for a time.

Women train the same as men so perhaps we don’t need our own forum.

Perhaps we do just need a “stickied” thread for topic and interview requests.

I am sure I am not the only woman who has tried to convince a woman that she will not get musclebound if she moves off the cardio equipment.

So… I didn’t and do not have an issue with the articles. I take what I need from them. I only had issue with moderation and I suppose the way to solve that is to post any training threads in the appropriate forum.

If you want moderated and more woman interest and response, post them in the woman’s forum; if you want a less moderated response and perhaps a wider audience than post in the BB or Strength or Combat sports forum.

TC, the tech guys, and the mods have all been very responsive to our requests. EVEN if that means telling us why it isn’t possible and the reason why.

Here is the link so you can read how things came about

TC knows the figure competitors by their first names. I’d like to see him do the same for the power competitors.

I haven’t yet finished this thread, but this is really the only thing that I can think of… an occasional article about a woman.

I have no doubt that the figure women can lift heavy, but the site as a whole is just too watered down.
