My friend says she uses powerdrive 15 min before she climbs in seltzer water. She is a great rock climber. I said what about club soda? She said they are the same thing. She says the bubbles bring the stuff to the muscles faster and better. I find this all a little hard to beleive! 1. Will it work better in the soda? 2. Are seltzer Water and Club Soda both just carbonated water?

Club soda and selzter are not the same thing. Club Soda has significant sodium content whereas selzter is more like carbonated water.
