Power Snatch

I’ve been trying to do power snatches following CT’s Big Back Stack, but I don’t know if I’m doing them right. Should I start off doing power cleans first, then move on to power snatches?

Does anyone know of any good sources (DVDs, books, websites) where I can PROPRERLY learn how to do these olympic type lifts?

[/quote] well usually most people learn the clean first, but there is no rule. although i would say the clean is muy easier to learn than the snatch(in all variations)

[/quote] I believe dan john has a free e-book out about this. with regards to video, go to irongame.com, they usually have some videos of OLY-lifting, although its mostly PLing vid’s.

The first link on Oddjob’s list (“Weighlifting Movements (Olympic)”) includes a lot of really good, and features inspirational Russian anthem music. All the other vids there are downright ugly; no leg drive.
