Okay bitch… I’m planning on setting records with the special O guys and I need to get my look going

Seriously, I know it looks like ass but I really like it. It helps to have something to bite down on. I’ve gotten enough pains down my neck to know I already grind down. I’m starting to worry about cracking teeth.

oh you will so kick some handicapped ass, I just know it.
but yeah, don’t be cracking your teeth. I sometimes squat with my gob hanging open and tongue sticking out. maybe we should do a special meet together.

Hey it could of been worse  LOL

Belated Happy Birthday and congrats! Those squats look awesome!

Jebus, great squatting Julie. When’s your next meet?

The next meet is January 22; our Provincial Championships. After that, it’s nationals.

Because of the weight class changes, all our qualifying totals have changed. I’ve been gunning for elite for a while. The total for that at 60kg was 375kg. Because I will now be competing at 63kg, I will need a 395 total 825lbs vs 869lbs. It’s still doable but won’t be easy since I have no immediate plans to put on weight.

When I first saw the vid I thought you wer holding you’re breath crazy-like. didn’t even think of the mouth guard. I also grind my teeth. Imagine the look I’d get at my little cardio gym: belt, chalk and now mouth guard.
lol.

Nasty.

I wondered what was going on with your mouth, O, but didn’t figure it out until you said “mouthguard.” So funny.

So your fed changed the weight classes? That sucks for you. USAPL is NOT changing. At least not for now. I think.

so snapper, no change of wt classes? i wonder if the bench thing is changing too?

what federation do you lift in o?

Brute: No change of weight classes for USAPL at this time. And no significant changes in bench. My coach says that 50% of the buttocks on the bench rule has been in place for some time. Bottom line is that it’s somewhat subjective.

There are changes at the international level (IPF).

My federation is the Canadian Powerlifting Union which is an IPF affiliate. We have chosen to incorporate the new weight classes as per the IPF change. It seems like a big pain in the ass right now but in a year…meh.

ourboro,

After watching your videos I have decided to never squat again (or deadlift) a couple more of these and I will be doing Crossfit and Triathlons.

They’re saying you’re so amazing and strong, that you make us all realize we have no shot at ever being impressive or successful, so we’re going to run off and do high rep kipping pullups for the rest of our days.

I thought it had something to do with the excessive ugliness of my mouth guard driving people away from this sport. It made me sad :frowning: I was already having a bad hair day. Your interpretation, while tongue in cheek, is much nicer than feeling ugly.

ourboro,

Pushmepullme was correct, it was complimentary, I often hide my sadness in humor.

Yep. That’s what I meant too.

We’re all intimidated by your awesomeness.
