šŸ”„ Post Your Hot Takes... Even the Oddly Specific Ones

I don’t know about Rick Ross, whoever that is, but Google Kerry Committee. The connection between the CIA and drug trafficking in the US has been known since the 80s. It’s not a new story at all.

The CIA was also behind the heroin trade in the US that was controlled by the Sicilian Mafia (even though there is no such thing as the Mafia).

Thanks. Yeah, I’ve always heard about it, but never bothered to look into it for myself.

I think I’ve seen you say that before. Is that supposed to be a joke or are you being serious? I can rarely tell if you mean what you say.

There’s also a netflix documentary called Crack: Cocaine, Corruption & Conspiracy

Take it with a grain of salt, Netflix has been known to outright fabricate shit in their documentaries. ā€œMaking a Murdererā€ was proven to be almost 100% false by a counter-documentary from Daily Wire / Candace Owens.

Keep in mind that ā€œconsipracy theoriesā€ is usually a term used to describe something which main stream media/govt have said isn’t true. In reality, it’s more accurate to think of them as ā€œpoking holes in the plotā€.
Wuhan Lab Leak is still technically a theory.
The Elite Cabal /Deep State is technically still a theory, but there’s a good bit of evidence regarding Bohemian Grove.
National Security Agencies using child sex trafficking to compromise elected officials/elites is still just a theory (epstein island).

That doesnt mean that all conspiracy theories are true or legit, they’re just worth listening to sometimes.

This all looks very good guys. :+1:

I’ll report this back to operations. They’ll be very happy.

It depends upon who I’m talking to.

My account was hacked.

I know.

This is so true and something I have said to many about Paul Whelan as well. Either he was working for the government and we have an obligation to bring him back for his service or he was falsely accused and we have an obligation to save an American from false imprisonment.

I don’t understand with Britney Griner. She actually broke the law. We have people rotting in prison in the US right now for breaking our own drug laws. Why are we so concerned about Griner? I have no idea what our moral stance on this was supposed to be.

It was a racially motivated ā€œwokeā€ appeasement from a political party in power wanting to satisfy a block of voters. Morality and integrity were not part of the decision. Imagine leaving a black woman in jail while freeing a white male in our modern time, backstory notwithstanding. Nobody reads deeper than meme captions anyways.

Ironically, Biden was at the forefront of supporting incredibly strict domestic drug laws in the 1994 Crime Bill, too - directly leading to many of the scenarios Britney would kneel over to begin with.

I need to use my imagination to believe we freed a black woman.

Stupid people shouldn’t study statistics.

I didn’t think they were even allowed to, Like there’s a bunch of prerequisites that prevent that from happening.

Does anyone think that under similar circumstances, a different president may have gotten Whelan back home?

Emotional support animals should not be considered service animals.

I’m sure there’s some therapitic value to this concept, but as always, people take it way too far.

That being said, I want an emotional support falcon. And an emotional support sword. And an emotional support cape.

ā€œFor my anxietyā€.

Excellent idea. You can train it to peck out the eyes of your enemies.

I’d feel alot safer knowing that if I got into a sword fight my falcon buddy would swoop in upon my enemy, distracting him (or it) so that I can land a deathblow.

:man_shrugging:t2:. Is that too much to ask?

I think that’s impossible to know, but it also misses the point a bit. It’s never been about Paul Whelan specifically. It’s been highlighted because it feels like a case of the laws not applying to the special people.

Whelan was in a Russian prison for a few years before Griner was arrested. As was mentioned, he’s either innocent or guilty because of actions he took on behalf of the US government. Both of those are good reasons that the US government should prioritize his release.

Griner is actually guilty of a crime. And while you may not see it as a serious crime, it’s also a crime in the US. If Biden was just worried about people in jail for non-violent drug crimes, he could have let a bunch of them go with just a pardon pen. But because Griner is a black, [nominally] female, lesbian [nominally] professional athlete, the same laws don’t apply to her. Not only did the US government think she isn’t responsible for her crime. It also released ā€œthe merchant of deathā€ to make sure that no one else held her responsible for her crime.

That’s a big fat example of rules not applying to some people because they are special.

Of course, it’s entirely possible that Whelan was never going to be released, most likely because the Russians think he is actually a spy. But prior to Griner’s arrest, the idea of swapping Whelan for Bout had already been floated. The fact that Griner appeared to move to the front of the line when she was arrested feels like special treatment.

If we believe the Russians.

As far as I know, she hasn’t denied the facts of the crime.
