Post Workout Shake

I know Surge is great, and blah blah blah (no disrespect) But I am currently on a Low Carb diet and my Protein shake has very little carbs - sugars in it.

My question is the following - Since I take Creatine with this Shake, I am wondering what could be added to the shake to help spike insulin to facilitate transport of the creatine to the muscles??

(I have been adding 2 Tablespoons of sugar to my shake with the hopes that this would help without killing my carb intake)

BCAAs. Lots of them.

Anything Cheaper??

a teaspoon of sugar is 4g worth. 3 teaspoons= 1 tablespoon, so you’re taking in 24g of sugar already, the same amount that is in Surge.

My bad…I meant to say 2 TEASPOONS!!!

Is 2 teaspoons enough to Jack up insulin for creatine uptake??

Not sure how many grams per teaspoon. Maybe you should try getting some maltodextrin? I’ve never mixed it anything directly but that has:

The ammino acid L-Leucine will spike insulin. It is a branched chain ammino acid, so load up on those BCAAs.

Creatine is absorbed in a cell through the sodium-potassium pump, so take some salt PWO to help also.
