So if you guys had to pick the best postworkout carb and protein to get from just regular food what would be the best?

You do not want to use food for a post workout meal, that meal must be liquid and as cold as possible to clear it out of the stomach fast. KALI, thanks for the laugh, that story had me going for awhile, partly because we’ve all done it, I mean we have all mixed BB’ing foods/and or shakes in the wrong amounts etc. and have all choked down many a meal, especially if anyone has ever done a keto diet!
So how about milk? I understand suplements would be better but I cant fit it in my budget so I want something I can just pick up at my college dinning hall and use my meal plan for. Thanks.

Milk would be perfect, so long as it’s skim because any higher fat content than that will slow absorption down way too much. The same reasoning applies to why this meal must be liquid, whole food would take too long to digest at a time you need it the fastest. Good luck.
maltodextrin has a GI of 105? why is this included in all meal replacment shakes? might as well use glucose. any thoughts?
