Hey Jimmy T

Thanks for asking!

Well I began to try to bench press the other day and I strained my left pec to the point where I have to stop upper body training for at least a week or two (or, gulp, more).

I am continuing my cardio routine as well as using leg machines so that I can at least stay in relatively good shape until I can lift again.

I know that “all things work together for good…” Romans 8:28 and so I am rejoicing in Him.

How’s it going with you?

Steve

SteveO,sorry to hear about your chest injury!Hang in there and and rest it up.Cardio,ab work and stretching are not as fun but very important as well.I’m getting ready to go to The East Texas Open on Feb.11.Looking to break some state records and tune up for the Nationals in June.

My body is at 187lbs.and I need to be 181.75,so I’m watching my diet.My lifts are coming along great and my focus on the GOLD!The glucosamine helped the tendon soreness. The Good Lord is certainly watching over me.I give him all the glory.Stay well,PTL, TRAIN HARD JIMMY T

I recommend strongly reading the materials of Dr. John Sarno or those of his pupil Dr. Marc Sopher. I have used the techniques they outline very successfully over the years not just for back injuries but other ailments such as allergies, upset stomaches, headaches and knee and hip pain to name a few. Best wishes.[/quote]

Galvatron, Where your back injuries from lifting? I really want to believe this guys techniques would work, but it’s really hard for me to beleive the type of injuries we get from lifting are just in the mind. I might get the book anyway just to give it a go if it’s not to expensive.
