I guess I’m not as hardcore as most people here. I talk to my friends, and keep an eye on my watch so I can get decent rest intervals (but I don’t shoot myself if I have to wait an extra 30 seconds).

  1. How long rest do you generally have in between sets?

I used to use 120 seconds in OVT, but now will be using 60 second rests using Waterbury’s anti-bb program. If I use a 5x5 strength protocol, more like 2-3 minutes.

I try to limit it to 1-2 minutes. But sometimes, if there’s a good song, I just gotta get my groove on and shake it for my own pleasure.

Probably not.

  5. 3-4 w/weights. 4-5 once strongman training begins. 5-6 including HIIT.
