Poliquin Principles

I disagree. Thats an amateur approach.
Sure, most people should get their diet and training together, and take care of the big things first, but some are professionals, and need to maximize each and every aspect of their program in order to achieve elite performance. Where do you go if you cleaned up your act, you eat by the book and your training is challenging and constantly changing according to your needs? What do you do to reach the next level?
Not to mention, costumized PW carb intake, the greens-fish oil-clean protein low carb diet, 5% solution, wave loading, clusters, etc, etc, etc…
Sure, some stuff is not originaly his, but I bet we wouldnt have heard about it if it wasnt for him. So give me a break with that macho-man attitude!

Having worked with Chuckles, I have to agree with bloatis.

I wish I knew exactly which one mineral I’ve been deficient in. Whatever it is, I seem to get it from reading this site. I wonder how much cp charges to put it into an IV or an enema?

I could say a mouthful here, but I’d be wasting my breath.

I can’t totally discount the things Poliquin says and does, because he seems to get results with his athletes. The same can obviously be said for Louie. Right now, Louie is my man simply because he gave me a free t-shirt a few weeks back, and I love free shirts.

I’d be interested to hear what Sully has to say…

The macho man bullshit?! Tantrum, are you even aware of what I said, did any of it register? I have years of experience in the game, I dont know it all and would never claim to but there is one thing that I know for sure and had to find out the hard way and that is any association with this man or his training methods is not a good thing. I speak from first hand experience, trust me, all I am trying to do is help people out like I said. Its not macho man bullshit, I get your point but the reality is that getting a blood test and a colon cleanse aint gonna do shit no matter what level you are at. And paying $500 dollars for a seminar on weight training is ludicrous! Its weight training for Christ sakes, not how to cure cancer! A good man, with morals and real training knowledge like Dave Tate gives his seminars for less than half the cost. And let me ask you this, is a $3500 a week internship to hang out around the office really worth it? I’d pay that much to hang out Carmen Electra possibly but definitely not old Chucky.

BTW, leg curls suck for athletes and you should never squat by breaking at the knees 1st and purposely letting your shins travel as far forward as possible if you want to lift big weights. Tempo is usually a waste of time, you’ll never get big staying under 10% bodyfat year round, a separate arm training day is not ideal for athletes, fish oils will not get you down to single digit bodyfat numbers, ashwaganda is not a good supplement, the one day arm cure shrinks your arms, German Volume makes you smaller,David Boston cant pass a certain test without some help, and light purple polo shirts aint cool. Thanks, its been fun.

So would I. Sully, you have the floor.

All ears here

Does Polquin do oil aenemas?

I’ll put in a second vote for Sully. Let’s hear some backup for CP.

That’s a good one Mark, but I’m way cheaper. For ony 578$, I’ll let you do my laundry, fed the cat, and shop for groceries(on your dime) for me. you can also watch me read magazines at work, go to the bank and do some ART. Any hot a nd heavy action with my fiancee is off limits, but you can take me to see strippers, though.

Steve speak the truth. Free tshirts rule. Bloatis is right. If i did 20 yearold westside, I still might have hit elite without a lot of wasted time and unnecessary injuries.
Of course, the smae goes for if I could have found ART in 86.
Chuck knows his stuff, but seems very hollywood. His protege, Ian Danney has a 200 k gig following Dave Boston around.

I don’t type as well when I have insomnia.

I can testify to GVT doing absolutely nothing for me.

That is the best thing I have ever read on T-mag. I agree completely. I have used ole CP’s methods in the past with limited results. And I will never in my life devote a day to training arms. I never liked doing that and never got anything out of it when I did. Proud to be a Renegade.

You guys are getting robbed blind. For $100, I’ll let you watch me workout, shave and/or trim my bodyhair and take out my dog.

For an additional $150, I’ll let you jerk me off.

Now that’s a deal!

Every individual is different, but I have to say I did put on 12 lbs following GVT and my strength shot radically.

Again, each individual has different ammounts of time under the Iron, with different fiber make-up, with different diets and hormone profiles, and so forth.
The one arm-a-day cure though is an abheration. Chucks shoulda known better on that one.

I do get a lot out of Poliquin’s techniques, but as I’ve long been saying, he’s gone commercial and he’s ‘open for business’. In the end Attitude spells out 50% of what you are, and Coach Davies or Thibeaudeau rate much higher on my list. I did buy the Principles from P-Dog and am very interested in reading it and getting an impression of it - but Poliquin seriously better watch out if he doesnt want to develop a bad name in the business.

Nah, not feeling like writing a novel. Besides, CP doesn’t need me to defend him. I’m sure neither he, not the Westside boys, or anyone else for that matter, are much into internet spats.

…but who is John Clark…and where did he see this “…lot of talk about finding the Poliquin Principles”

…you know what THAT smells like…

SPAM…!

For me, anything the man ever said had worked perfectly.
With GVT, I’ve seen lots of people gain awesome amounts of LBM.
I’ve done the one day arm cure years ago when it was first published, and it worked perfectly for me and the guy I did it with.
Poliquin never said leg curls are a must, on the contrary, he said you can build great hams without them.
Passing the toes with the knees was advised only with lunges, not squats. It works great. The only position you can actually pass your toes is the lunge.
TUT a waste of time, ha? Tell that to Check, CT, Staley, etc, etc, and the rest of the training industry’s experts. They are all using his TUT principles.
I’m single digit BF, and fish oil was a staple in my diet, which had brought me to my current condition. I’ve seen people decrease BF rapidly using his diet recommendations.
I bet you never tried ashwaganda. Its a great product, for inducing HQ sleep. I use it, my clients use it.
Now I dont know where did you bring that BS about CP, nothing was true, as it is obvious, you didnt go by his methods as accuretly as you said you were. Please, Bloatis, bring up some links so we can see whos right.
I agree with the money thing. He is very very very expensive. All good things are.
Of course, the most successful man in any field, has lots of enemies and opposers. That comes with the territory.
