Hi all,
Sadly, I have no workouts to post yet. This has not been a stable week for me. In case some of you hadn’t noticed, I have some problems with depression/possibly bipolar-ism. I figured I’d just put it out there straight. The end of the semester is fast approaching, stress is running high, and I’m looking at changing up my medication; my fluctuations have been getting steadily more severe. I’m on cloud nine one week, the depths of hell the next. I might be giving my log rather sporadic attention in the near future, but I’ll be back on my game by the new year. Promise. Right now I’m just battling my Dark Passenger as best I can <name that show!>.
Hugs,
Plucky
p.s. my mom bought me a bunch of protein…one little corner of my universe is in order!
I’m happy you got the protein, I know you ran out of protein and money… not good.
I hope you feel better soon, I know the stress of school and bipolar and LIFE mix like oil and water.
Take care and feel better.
Hang in there kid. This too will pass.
Don’t forget, when you get back from break ACC b-ball will rockin’ in Dino’s house.
Don’t let it get the better of you, like Print said this will blow over too…
Keep focus on what you need to get done and I’m sure you’ll get by.
you have been so wicked cool these last 10 pages I forgot you were dealing with bi-polar. You rock Plucky and never forget that. Working through instead of ignoring it is very strong of you. Now keep your priorities straight and do what needs to be done.
I’ll be cheering from the sidelines!
e-hugs
Plucky, what N said about keeping your priorities straight is 100% correct. Too often in life, we get so caught up in “other crap” that what’s really important to us gets pushed aside. Keep it centered, and you’ll be fine. Can’t wait to see you training again.
Oh, and you battle your Dark Passenger just like DEXTER! amirite? What do I win?

Don’t going killing anyone now! j/k Are you watching this season? Amazing!
But seriously, good on you for setting your priorities and dealing with this. I have never dealt with bipolar myself, but depression is a bitch…
*Hugs from me too!
Best of wishes, Plucky.
BTW, I love your log; I check it every day for updates.
you guys are great. Dexter followers get internetz cookies courtesy of Plucky (okay, I’m only in season two-relatively recent convert here)

After Calvin and Hobbes (one of the Almighty’s many gifts to man), Pearls Before Swine is my favorite comic.
The fact that Stephen Pastis (the author) is a former attorney and I am in law school may make me appreciate it a bit more.
