Please Shoot Me... North Korea

Maybe the NFL should start an expansion Team in Norway.

Oslo Vikings won the Norwegian Eliteserien this year, why not invite them? Although looking at their roster, there are some immigrant names with all those Magnuses and Trgyves…

Mike Huckabee and Donald Trump (who invited him to the White House).

Well, if you don’t know certain things and don’t care, maybe you should keep your ignorance, your self-admitted ignorance, to yourself.

You would be wrong.

Then why didn’t we attack Beirut after the killing of the Marines and other crimes by the clients of the Iranians? On second thought…never mind. Save this for the other thread.

What I find weird is all the time Fox News commentators ragged on Obama for “being willing to meet with dictators” and now they praise Trump and want him to get a Nobel.

Did anyone else find strange how in Trump’s mind the Iran Nuclear Deal with all those detailed provisions for oversight is the “worst deal ever” but a very vague commitment from Kim to “denuclearization” without any written guarantees is breezily accepted at face value by him?

Go on…

Why should I care? You brought up the birther movement, not me. I could not care less about it. . How’s the weather up there on your high horse?

Convincing argument from the guy on the high horse…

Um, because they aren’t in America…

Yes I do, Loppar.

The hypocrisy of it all is simply staggering…

…and the hypocrisy of it all continues on and on and on…

Right. Obama did nothing to get the nobel peace prize and libs loved it. Now they hate it when people think Trump should get one for getting Kim to agree to denuclearize NK and end the Korean war. Just staggering:)

It amazes me that people think the hypocrisy from Fox News(and clearly it’s there) comes close to that of CNN, MSNBC, NBC,ABC, PBS, combined. Journalists finally woke up after sleeping for 8 years. The MSM still thinks Obama’s biggest scandal is wearing a tan suit.

Yeah. Meeting strongmen without with demanding preconditions used to be an inexcusable sin - well, it was because Obama mentioned doing it. Some conservatives are even recognizing that on this, if it weren’t for double standards, they’d have no standards at all:

Of course they hate that. He hasn’t actually done that. You don’t hate the thought of Trump getting a medal for something he objectively hasn’t done?

What exactly did Kim agree to? So far the POTUS has provided a propaganda boon to NK, even dismissively described joint SK/US military exercises as “very provocative war games” and agreed to their suspension. It’s like a line from a North Korean news show.

So far, nothing of substance from NK, only from Trump who’s been praising the Great Leader.

BTW, “denuclearization” has been NK’s official policy for decades. It’s just in their mind it’s the US and NK that are giving up their respective arsenals.

Granted, it wouldn’t be the first administration to be fooled by North Korea’s supposed willingness to negotiate…

Objectively, huh. What was Kim signing? Life insurance? What about the Panmunjom Declaration(that Trump helped make possible) that has been reaffirmed during this meeting? What about the releasing of POW’s? NK and SK are on the brink of ending the Korean war. North Korea has agreed (yes, who knows if they fully will cooperate) to denuclearize the Korean Penisula. None of that matters? But hey, Obama deserved his NPP though, right?

Denuclearization. Releasing POW’s. Peace with South Korea.

I have no idea, do you have a copy I could read?

I didn’t say none of it matters. I commented on why people are against giving someone an award for something that is yet to be accomplished.

Last POWs died in the mines in the 90ies. It’s their remains they were talking about.

Did you read the Joint Statement Kim and Trump signed? It contains the phrase “work towards” which is extremely nebulous and not far from the official NK line for decades. Trump added some additional concessions outside of the Statement…

1. The United States and the DPRK commit to establish new U.S.-DPRK relations in accordance with the desire of the peoples of the two countries for peace and prosperity.

2. The United States and the DPRK will join their efforts to build a lasting and stable peace regime on the Korean Peninsula.

3. Reaffirming the April 27, 2018 Panmunjom Declaration, the DPRK commits to work towards complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula.

4. The United States and the DPRK commit to recovering POW/MIA remains, including the immediate repatriation of those already identified.

Except from POW remains, extremely vague.

Is it fully accomplished? No but it’s a start. And again. Obama, Obama. Obama. What the hell did he do to “earn” his NPP? Just pointing out the hypocrisy that Mufasa hates so much.
