Please Don't Leave Balbos!!!

you think gladiators in ancient rome that fought not to just win,but to survive lifted weights all day and ate 8 high protein meals.yeah,right.
you think you could beat them if time-machine was available?
yeah,right.
they trained motor skiils using weapons and building mental toughness.
thats what they did.

please,try this!

1.put 3 coins on the palm of your left hand.
2.toss the coins in the air.
3.catch all coins after they start to fall, but only using your left hand.

if you catched all 3 coins-you have good motor skills
if you catched only 2 coins, you need to work on your motor skills much harder than you need to lift more weights or build more muscles.
if you catched only 1 coin, leave sports to others.
if you catched no coins, you are a vegetable.

Balbos, you should get together in a separate forum topic with Tim Phoenix and discuss training. You guys can argue about who knows the most about training. That would be the ultimate T-Nation roundtable discussion.

You can discuss the merits of how raw meat should be when consumed. The best animal to imagine yourself to be when training. Etc. Etc. – I’m sure many people would be interested in this.

did you know that croatian powerlifter marin vlahovic benched 300 kg. last year?
now,you know.

I will gladly send you a week’s salary if you would shut the fck up and not post for a while. Look man, I have been to Yugoslavia when it still was Yugoslavia. My sister was stationed as part of the blue helmets there when the sht hit the van. So I have some sympathy of what you are dealing with and I know life is very different from you than in Western Europe and in the US. But posting ingorant sh*t is not going to buy you any credibility in my eyes.

AI would laugh at you for that comment or he would slap the taste out of your mouth rather.

Also, the dude is easily under 10% bodyfat. Why am I even wasting my time explaining this to you, you dumb fuck.

man, allen iverson has athletic abiility.he is not overly strong.he doesnt bench 300lb. or squats 500lb.
of course he is under 10% bf–profesional baller with body weight under 170 lb.
who did you play against also? mike, shaq, kobe, spudd,…

or just mix it up on the street.

So let me get this straight: you’re calling out a Slovenian guy on a US-based web site offering to “mix it on the street”? This is beyond bizzare.

As far as submission wrestling is concerned, please enlighten us Croatians about your placings on all previous Zagreb Open submission wrestling tournaments. I’m sure such a tremendous athlete like yourself has already shown his superior grappling skills to the general public on these events.

Actually it is not. Despite the efforts of certain ahem individuals, life over here in Croatia is very similar to life in Western Europe.

The States are a completely different matter, of course.

I met AI at the Four Seasons in Georgetown. Im sure there is no Four Seasons in Croatia. Anyhow, AI is definitely under 10% BF and is very well in shape and has the body for the game he plays. He also runs his mouth a lot, unlike Balbos, AI has game to back it up.

Your impressive numbers are real testament to your real-world knowledge. I’m sure you are a great athlete too. You must blow us all out of the water. Yes, everyone here fits the narrow box of bodybuilder. Forget about those of us who played sports at the collegiate level. You must be superior because you play a few games of pick-up basketball from time to time.

At least she was trying but had I knew it was to protect and save ignorant assholes like you, I would have never let her go.

I am not sure how much he benches but he is a lot stronger than you are and that is sad since you are Croatia’s smartest and most knowledgable fitness individual.

No, I did not play against any of those guys. But when you were too busy drinking cheap liqour and chasing cheap women (your words not mine)I was busting my ass and got a basketball scholarship to play in the US where I played with my now buddy Vladimir who hails from your country and does a much better job of representing your people than you do. I played from 95 to 98 and played against some other guys who play in the NBA, Malik Rose and Steve Francis among them. And just b/c you are full of shit, that does not mean everyone else is as well so the next time you try to call me out on something you may want to pick a better subject.

Hate to do it but I have to agree with Zap on this one. I can do way more dips than pull ups.

Whats off about his numbers are his strenght levels and his BF %. Quite unimpressive for someone who claims to know more about training than all of us combined…

Quite the contrary. Balbos, why are your pulling and pushing muscles so discrepant?

I didn’t really go over them with a fine-toothed comb, but now that you mention it…

Yeah. That just jumped out at me when glancing over. 10 pull-ups and 22 dips isn’t right.

Really? Those are about my numbers, maybe add a dip or two, and I thought that was pretty standard ratio-wise.

I can usually do 12 to 14 pullups on a good day and I can do so many dips I get bored. I think his numbers are reasonable.

I don’t know guys. Seems off to me. My ratio is not 1:1 but fairly close. Yesterday. I was doing high-rep bodyweight work. I was doing a few sets of 15 for chins and dips. I could’ve done more dips, but it was good enough that I still got a solid workout limiting it to the same number of chins that I could do. I would think that anyone able to do significantly more dips would also be benching WAY more than rowing. My bench and row are also quite close. But maybe I am the anomaly.

Short stupid story about AI. For the time I lived in the Philly area, I lived about 2 minutes from his house and he would frequent the local Wawa (upscale 7-11). One night myself and some work mates stopped there after a night out, and one of my workmates was puking uncontrollably on the side of the building. Well, AI and his crew roll up in a Bentley and an Escalade and start walking towards the store. Just then, AI stopped everyone, pointed at my workmate, and said “Shiiiiiit, that dude’s a fuckin pussy.” As we stood there in amazement, his crew started laughing and all walked in the store. As soon as we all realized what happened, we all pointed at the guy and laughed uncontrollably for at least 10 minutes.

AI was this guy’s favorite professional ballplayer. Last I talked to him, he is still pissed off about looking like an idiot.

Highlight of my time in Philly.

OK guys layoff, it is really cruel to pick on someone who is mentally challenged.

Thats some funny shit. Where in Phili did you live?

Now tell me what is wrong with you?
Where did I say that he doesn’t train hard. Damn, I admire him, and he’s my favourite fighter, but please don’t post about some methods for superstrength, like you said, cause that shit doesn’t exist. He is one of the best, because he trains like a madman, also Ivanisevic, B. Vlasic. No secret methods and similar stuff…

And yeah, I’m not an athlete anymore, but I was an competitive olmpic lifter for some time, so please, don’t talk about some superstrength, unless you’re not superstrong.

And that about 20 athletes was just a comparison (and a fuckin made up number, just out of my head, to show the situation), to show how fucked up strength sports are in Ex-Yugoslavia area. Few very strongman, of course there are some, like you, but please, admit it, it can’t compare with US and lkes.

And the fact that you are treathing me with a fight (or inviting me, it doesn’t matter) just shows how primitive you are.
