lil_azn: after looking at the link, you weren’t kidding about an arm and a leg. No info on WHAT they are either.
You say you’ve spent quiet a few hours on the subject. In what way? Formal, just looking around, or otherwise?

i read quite extensively, informally of course. i looked up the ingredients in his products (i am that anal) & what others had to say on the subject. i even bought his book the anti-estrogenic diet.
Ingredients
Chrysin (5,7-Dihydroxy-flavone)150mg
Apigenin30mg
Diindolymethane60mg
Quercetin Dihydrate38mg
Resveratrol (Polygonum cuspidatum)8mg
Citrus Bioflavonoids (S. American)68mg
Polyphenols (green tea 90%)8mg
In a proprietary base of: Phytosterols, including Beta Sitosterol, Capesterol and Stigmasterol, and Asphaltum puniabiunum, Pygeum africanum bark, Piper Nigrum seed (piperine, chavicine), Turmeric (root) Curcuma longa, Fenugreek (seed) Foenum-graecum 376mg
the studies are mixed on the actual efficacy of chrysin as an anti-estrogenic. TC, i believe it was, wrote an article that included his review of chrysin. other ingredients you may recognize as being the active compounds in cruciferous veggies - broccoli, cauliflower, brussels sprouts - (DIM), REZ-V, etc, etc.
i figured bottom line is take care of the liver, kidneys - the body’s filtration system. eat balanced whole foods, watch the insulin spikes (insulin is the master hormone - that goes wacky, so will everything else) and the body can detoxify itself to a good degree. avoiding plastics (xenoestrogens) is akin to avoiding breathing, imho.
eat a small apple a day - i forget what it is, there is an active compound that binds to excess estrogen sitting in the colon, escorts it out of the body to keep the body from reabsorbing it. and fits in quite nicely as a post-work out snack.
