Still have a cold or some other kind of infection. Did the bare minimum to keep from getting worn down any further. Lack of sleep seems to be the biggest obstacle so far. Every rep on the BP was shaking! The shaking was actually starting to distract me!!! Yet the DL’s felt easy and movement up & down was smooth. I tried following Prilipen’s guidelines today (80% 1RM and ideal reps bet 10 & 20 total). If I am up to it, will squat light tomorrow, or, wait until Mon - we’ll see how my back/body feels!
Kind of feeling a little sick myself. The smaller plates helped and I saw a Dan John video. Can’t wait to go back to the 45s. I still have to watch myself regarding form. I’ve fell in love with zercher squats. Drink lots of water and train hard.

I am flat and rusty.It has been one month since my last SQ. and DL. training.I am sore but it is not that bad at all. NASA East Texas State meet is in febuary in Tyler.I looked over the state records in the Master 2 and they are all with in my capacity!I am thinking about going no matter where my training is!

Great to hear everyone was about to enjoy the Christmas Holiday! Mine was very nice & hopefully yours was too! My squat is getting worse…today I was supposed to do sets of 2-4…my first set all I got was a single…I got mad & frustrated and banged through 7 sets of doubles…honestly I doubt i had a triple in me today at this weight!
Tooth is coming out on Friday afternoon so I trying to cram the workouts in prior to the weekend - I am supposed to take it easy so as not not disrupt the clot so that is what I’m gonna do.
you will be fine 'cause what’s underneath is all strong muscles, tendons & ligaments awaiting the stresses of your next couple of workouts…do not worry too much, it will come back and then some!
