Physique Clinic discussion for CrewPierce

As far as the pants go, UA loose gear seems to fit the bill, and I’d recommend wearing spandex underwear to keep you from feeling like you got kicked in the nuts.

Other than that, basketball pants and sweat pants might be worth looking into. They’ll probably fit you since they are made for tall people, and they’ll be loose enough and allow free movement well.

Personally, I like breakaway pants so I can go from clothed to pantsless in seconds.

Hey crew, I have 2 questions:

  1. Why do you eat celery? What’s celery got that all vegies lack? (besides "b/c Coach CT said so)

  2. What are you doing for warmups?

GL on hitting more PRs!

Haha it’s funny that you mention the breakaway pants because that’s what I normally wear. However when you are doing cleans and snatches from the hang you risk going pantless in the gym!

I’m a big fan of the UA briefs, esp. on leg days. They also give you a nice spring from the bottom of the squat.

1.Celery is more or less just water and fiber. It helpes to slow the digestion of the foods and makes me feel full. Also, CT said to

  1. I’ll do each of the movements for about 15 reps with a light weight before I go into a working set.

Thanks for the support! I think with the rack pulls added in I’ll be hitting leg PR’s more often now. I’m pretty happy with direction my squat is going in already.

Thanks for the information on the diet. just saw your new diet, looks like theres less calories??

how is the training being set up now apart from the shooting for PR’s?

I don’t really think that there are any less calories. We bumped up my meat intake from 6 to 8oz, we added in 1 Metabolic Drive Bar per day, and I now use more SURGE in my workout nutrition.

As far as the training goes, Mon and Tue I work up to 1RM’s and then on Thur, Fri, Sat, I go for mass gains. So the first 1/2 of the week is strength gains, the second half is mass gains.

I must say I’m a pretty big fan of this new program!

ahh, i missed the Metabolic Drive bars :stuck_out_tongue:

sorry for all the questions bro, but i suppose your used to it by now.

one more q… what training split has CT got u on with that set up? guessing maybe a upper and lower uper body day then followed with chest/back, shoulders/traps and legs again?

on a side not, i wish i was a US citizen, Being british sucks, not because of not being allowed in the clinic but theres no support here, food availability is poor and no ‘real gyms’ in my area. crew, you got a spare place at your house?

p.s you got in contact with the strongman guy yet?

My split is:
Mon: Upper Body Strength
Tue: Lower Body Strength
Wed: Off
Thur: Upper Body Mass
Fri: Lower Body Mass
Sat: Arms
Sun: Strongman

I have gotten in contact with Mr. Spybrook and he said I am free to join him at 9am on Sundays. I will do my best to get there but I am not sure where exactly he is.

Haha I don’t have any room as I’m living with my girlfriend starting at the end of the month. Hopefully within a year I’ll have a nice house in the South so I may take in some foreigners then

Crew,

First off, great job so far.

Can you ask coach why he doesnt have you on creatine? I always thought of this as a “staple,” but he obviously has his reasons. I was just curious.

Good luck, bro.

Hey I think I can answer that now for you.

CT said he likes to keep some things in reserve. That way later down the road we can use them to see results when we eventually slow down.

This is why all of us aren’t on everything that Biotest makes…although I certainly wouldn’t mind that!

For those of you who have read the Thread “The Fat Think Tank”

The Battle Is Coming

The stage has been set for the next World War, but this one will not be confined to two teams of countries, rather this will be a true world war. The battle front will be the internet forums, the political stage, in every country, the hospitals in our towns, and very possibly face to gut. The stage is set for the war between the fat and the fit.

The fat population is quickly out numbering our forces. Every fast food joint going up is another fat soldier factory, helping to take over fit people and turn them against their old cause. Our staging grounds, the gyms with real barbells and chalk, are going out of business even faster than the King is producing burgers. We must make a stand or fall by the way side.

Fueled by our high testosterone counts, we must shape our forces early, while the mind is still young and moldable. We have seen from the fat website that as they get older, all logic is lost to them. We must help educate everyone that comes to our site, even if they think a shoe will help us to determine their body fat. If we chase them off, we just lost another fighting force.

Darwin is no longer winning in the natural world. While this fat men and women are unable to reproduce due to their 2 inch test deprived penises and 10 foot asses, they are converting fit boys and girls with their tasty food. They even enslave fit people to feed them!

Given our high test counts, it’s no wonder we made the first strike. We pretended to be one of them and joined their website. We tried to tell them the great harm they are doing to themselves and society as a whole, but they caught on! We were banned from their site for trying to show them the truth.

Now is the time to ban together and make a concentrated effort, this time more potent since we will have gathered together. Our one by one attacks merely bounce off their blubber, but together, we can be the donut that chokes them out! We need to lobby together and get our old and fat political leaders out and replace them with people who realize that punishing the supplement industry is only hurting our country worse.

We need to look to our brothers, the English, and legalize drugs that may help turn the tide against the US’s growing waist line. We need to take action against websites that promote fat people getting fatter, to the point where they can no longer walk!

Being fat is not a handicap. If you ate so much you can’t walk, than you don’t deserve to park in the closest spot to the buffet doors! You should have your scooter taken away or your walker kicked out from under you if you think that that is the life! I refuse to pay for one more person to live in a hospital, getting fed on my tax dollars, because that was their dream!

Today, we ban together and fight the fat! If we don’t Darwin will not prevail, rather we will merely get eaten! Soon we will become the slaves to all the fat people. Fit people will be the ones serving in the military protecting the donut shops, we will be the ones paying for the hospital beds and food for the happily immobile, and we will be their food! On this day we shall wage the war of all wars, WE SHALL FIGHT THE FAT!

::Haha ok so I’m bored at work and felt like writing something funny. Hopefully some people enjoyed this and if it upset you, get over it.::

Crew, I’ve been on vacation getting drunk/fat. Are you ripped like the fucking hulk yet bitch?

And quit hating fat people.

Haha i dunno about ripped but I’m getting stronger! Lol I don’t hate fat people, just read that thread and you’ll understand.

Besides, I used to be fat. Haha I just never had someone bringing me food so I could get fatter!

Power Drive kicks ass I agree,

that is all.

Haha amen to that!

Crew, two things:

  1. HAHAHA liked your fat post. I’m seriously on your side on fat people replication being an issue. I like going to hometown buffet to see how much these people can eat–one even tells me the food is healthier can therefore eat more ice cream w/o any consequence!

  2. I think i read in your post that you are wearing a lifting belt? I was reading up on these and contemplating going with a lifting shirt. Why are you using the belt? Why are you not using a shirt instead? At some point, do you have to go with a belt for safety? :stuck_out_tongue:

  3. Glad you liked the post!

  4. What type of lifting shirt are you talking about? Do you mean a powerlifting bench shirt (single ply, double ply, ect) or do you mean a spandex support shirt?

I use a lifting belt to help protect my lower back. With it already having been injured I’m not taking any chances!

I only use the belt on my heaviest sets (usually from a 3RM to a 1RM) and I only use it on squat and deadlift.

I have been using a crappy ass Nike one, but I just ordered a very nice one from elitefts.com 2 days ago. It’s custom made so it will take 3 weeks but I can’t wait to get it

Great post CrewPierce!

Good job staying straight with everything on your cruise. That takes some steel discipline.

Stay strong Bro!

Wow CrewPierce, i am in love with your forum… and as unmanly as this sounds, it really touched me. I started picking up the weights seriously last year, and can relate to your drive, dedication, and mindset about toxic people…As my body began to transform, i noticed that this girl that i was dating began to fight me, saying that i was selfish because i cared only about how i looked, she was probably mad because i would bring my protien shake whenever we went out.

my brother fouhgt me, saying his friends were younger and were waaay bigger than me. my parents would bitch and make fun of my diet EVERYDAY and friends… Everyone i could possibly think of that was close to me in my life was polluting my mind into not working out… and my friends would say things like you dont have a 12 hour job like me thats why you find time to work out…lol… i bought the book 48 laws of power and began to read that… and today the only person i am talking to in my life is one close friend who is also serious about bodybuilding…lol… and i learned that i just had to weed out the people in my life that were dragging me down and not bringing me up…

I had a quick question pierce… was wondering if you could ask coach Thib what he thought about using smith machine for bench press, incline press, and military press… i hear that free weights are better for free motion, but my buff buddy uses the smith all the time and am a lil confused. and coach Thib if your reading this, i think you are one of the best damn coaches, if i was a woman i would marry you… stay toxic free and keep downing them oranges!
