Even though you are a Buckeye, I’m glad you posted on my thread Higgins. There is a commercial on TV where a Michigan fan drops his bag and an OSU fan picks it up and hands it to them and they share a smile. In a way, thats how I see us…kind of.
Only for you, other Michigan fans I would take the bag and toss it as far as I could.
My favorite of those commericals was one a few years back when two people were in the car going back from their first date and the girl driving said “Go Blue!” in response to something and the guy in the passenger’s seat immediately opened the door and jumped out, rolling down a very steep hill, then revealing his OSU T-Shirt.

Love that commercial except that the guy didn’t die after he got done rolling.
Is there any way you could record your parents’ reaction the first time they lay eyes on you? Got anyone with a small video camera you could share the moment with? And then post it here!

Which one is the before and which is the after? I’ve only known people who have gained weight this quickly, not lost it. This must be one of those reverse things where they start at the end and progress backwards.

Insane results thus far, keep it up bro.
I have a job interview and am focused on that or else I would have some witty come back. But I don’t, so I won’t, but thats for the compliment, I think there is one in there.
Hey man,
Your parents’ subdued reaction is not totally unexpected. Be interesting what they say when it actually sinks in.
When I was younger my parents used to always discourage weight-lifting. “When you stop, all your muscle turns to fat!” They discouraged me from journalism, but I ended up there anyway. Such is life.
It’s really cool they seem supportive of your possible career moves, though. Keep up the good work!

My parents are dramatically different than me in the sense that they are both very intraverted, while I am a little on the extraverted side. So while I wasn’t expecting much, I thought I would get a little more out of them.
Oh well. They are happy and thats all that really matters.

Sorry for the quick and dirty image, but I was inspired.
Ha ha, I like that. Nice saying, wonder where it came from.
Bartl, damn fine work; keep it up.
Thanks Zagman…since the program is coming to a close, its time to move on to my next thread. I plan on working with Thibs and go on an eating phase, or as most people would call it a “bulking” phase. I am going to try and put on some good muscle mass once my race is done, an 8 week program. Then train for 4 weeks for my next triathlon.
