I realize you’ve made great progress and you look great and all, but still, we really did NOT need this mental image.

C’mon Mike…Imagine me in the sick white suit that Travolta wore in Saturday Night Fever. Trust me, I have the chest hair to pull it off.

I just need Shugs moves and I’m golden…[/quote]

Forget that, you need this guy’s outfit… haha

I don’t do Elvis

Suggestion: What about not posting pictures for the rest of the time I am here, so that the end picture is absolutely mind blowing. You wanna end with a bang, 6 weeks without pictures would be a minor explosion.

Might get boring though. Pics = views = successful Clinic = Chris retains job.

I think a fat kid losing 60+ lbs, becoming an endurance athlete, learning how to properly cook meals and not lose his mind, regardless of pictures, ensures that Chris retains his job.

You know Mr. Bartl, you’re known for your smart assness but I think you have something here. From here on in your weekly visual changes will not be as dramatic. I think weekly pics might actually be boring. That’s not putting down your accomplishments in any way, that’s just reality when you’re down to those last few pounds. But waiting until the end with one final pic that shows the finished product would definitely be a bang.

If Shugs doesn’t go for it then you could always add humor. Do one pic where you have the same pose like CT has in his avatar. Do another where you have that intense look that Shugs has in his avatar. You get the idea.

Hey Bartl
I’ve been following your thread and decided yesterday that im no longer rooting for you.
why you may ask. well brother you already won. Now that you got it up keep it up your dedication is motivating.

Isn’t there a pad in your riding shorts? That would be very impressive if you still managed to get camel toe with a pad in your shorts.

maxi pad

As I sit here in the cold being kept warm by one of my 5 currently in rotation Ohio State hoodies, I can proudly say BUCKEYE TILL I DIE!!!.

But congrats on the progress barti, you are really doin it man. Keep it up.

Ya there is a pad but I figured it would get a lot of air time if I said something like that, which it did.

So thanks dre for getting the ball started with that!

As I sit here, in my board shorts and flip flops, looking out over the city of Santa Barbara and towards the Pacific Ocean, enjoying the morning temperature of about 68 degrees…I can proudly say that I am glad I don’t live in Ohio.

Thanks for the post brother! How you guys looking in spring practice so far?

Anytime you need your thread to to go off topic, I’m your man.

Oh and I seriously hate you for being able to wear flip flops right now. lol

On a training related note, good luck on your triathlon. I’ve done one sprint distance tri and it was a blast. I should do another one. When is it again?

I did a duathon last year but that was too much running. I suck at running.

Hey bro,
Sorry to hear about the job, but you’ll bounce back and get something even better before you know it.
