Physique Clinic discussion for Barti

Ya, they are getting out there. They played a show in LA recently for only 300 people in a super small venue. Tickets were like $40 and sold out in under 5 minutes. I was bummed.

Those pepper flakes are pure awesomeness. Since I discovered them a few months ago I have been using them on/in everything. They’ll make anything taste delicious, no matter how crap it tastes alone. Definitely a godsend for dieters eating bland stuff. [/quote]

Man they are so good. There is nothing that red pepper flakes can’t go on and there is nothing they don’t make taste better.

Ouch fella. Your head looks painful! I am ice hockey ignorant but I thought you guys wore helmets?

I was wearing a helmet, just caught me right underneath where the helmet was covering and it actually caught a portion of it as well. I wasn’t sure if it hit it or not, don’t really remember getting hit at all actually, but the guys I was playing with said they heard it hit the helmet and then I saw the scratch.

I got lucky, one inch to the right and it hits me square in the temple or 1/2 inch to the left and it hits me directly in the eye.

And no, I don’t plan on getting a face mask or half shield.

Damn bro - battlescars! lol - “I got used all night”.

The coaches did a great job when they picked those to participate in the Physique Clinics - you’ve each got an intensity all your own…

Heads do tend to bleed a lot, but I wonder if the fish oil loading you’ve done didn’t have an effect.

I do hope you use a mouth guard! You’re gonna need a decent grill when you pump those pecs for the ladies…

Well, any time I’ve seen a cut where I got it, they bleed a lot and this was no different.

I don’t use a mouth guard but after this last incident, I think I will get one because I just can’t get myself to wear a shield of any sort.

Shiner’s coming in nicely…

Tried it in my oatmeal. Less than stellar. (Just kidding!)

your calves are rocks man!

you are killing it

Hey bro,
Amazing job on all the progress so far. Hope the eye is feeling better!

Great progress Bartl! 200 lbs is right around the corner, keep it up Bro!

Thanks…not to bad considering that I haven’t even been focusing on them until two weeks ago. I have a feeling all the walking has been helping them out

Keep up the great work Bartl, if i could just toss out a tip on taking the front shots, it still seems like your camera is a little low, and no matter how lean you are, if a camera is shooting “up” at you, then youre not gonna see as good of a shot as possible.

I actually figured this out when i went from having my 5"1 girlfriend at the time take my pics to setting my camera on a higher surface and using the timer.

200 is on its way!

Thanks JB…I definitely remember that tip for next Sunday when I take pictures…

Hey Bartl, you are Canadian aren’t you?

I posted this in the joke forum, but I don’t know what FLQ is. What is FLQ?

Top 10 Reasons to Live in Quebec

  1. Everybody assumes you’re an asshole

  2. Racism is socially acceptable

  3. The only province to ever kidnap federal politicians

  4. You can take bets with your friends on which English neighbor will move out next

  5. Other provinces basically bribe you to stay in Canada

  6. The FLQ

  7. Your hockey team is made up entirely of dirty French guys

  8. The province with the oldest, nastiest hookers

  9. NON-smokers are the outcasts

  10. You can blame all your problems on the “Anglo bastards”

The FLQ stands for Front de Liberation du Quebec (there should be accents above the ‘e’ in Liberation and the first ‘e’ in Quebec).

There were a left wing terrorist group in Canada during the 60’s and 70’s that bombed a bunch of shit and killed a bunch of people. They were a group that had Marxist beliefs and thought they could liberate Quebec to be its own sovereign state away from Canada.

Thibs might remember them or remember hearing about them growing up as a kid.

And no, I’m not Canadian. I grew up on the American side of the border in Washington state but played all my hockey in greater Vancouver. Half of my relatives live in BC or Alberta though.

Good side by side progress pics.

Those pictures sure are getting the responses!
