should definitely continue doing lighter/higher rep chest work to maintain strength while increasing back work load to catch up. Ideally you want your back to catch up to your chest which will take longer but be better in the long run than to “balance out” sooner by having your chest lose strength. Going through PT myself for a repaired bicep tendon I realized that you need to take the experts guidance with a grain of salt. Alot of them like to follow the book to closely without taking the individual into account.

Thanks for the perspective. I’m a good 40lbs weaker on my rows compared to bench. Will definitely work hard to close that gap.
