Phil Heath

I have no idea how someone can even make a case for one-time Mr. O Phil Heath having already passed eight-time Mr. O Ronnie Coleman, who had his wins in a tougher era. Ronnie would dwarf him on stage and dominate his physique, by body part and as a whole.

As for being the biggest right now…Kai, Jay, Branch, Evan and others are all larger than him.

i think the first pic in this thread pretty much showed Phil is much larger than Branch,

Ronnie was being compared to Yates before he won his first O, and of course, taller guys will look larger than shorter ones side by side, but that is not always the determining factor in who wins O’s height and body weight(overall mass).

Haha yeah, no idea what I was thinking when I said Branch…the manlet of manlets only outsizes other manlets.

How can you justify Phil being better than Ronnie?

Olympia wins - Ronnie
Frame size - Ronnie
Shape - Ronnie (1998-2003)
Bodyweight - Ronnie
Conditioning - Phil
Every bodypart except for, and maybe even including arms - Ronnie

Give Phil a couple more Olympia wins and then there might be a debate.

Yes you do look completely clueless when you write something like this implying that his routine is a big reason for his arm size gain since he turned pro.

His arms were already a stand out bodypart, his routine since he turned pro has nothing to do with his arm size improvement (hey did you notice everything else also improved? must be the routine)[/quote]

Dude, your post is ridiculous. I’ve been here long enough for people to know I don’t need, you especially, giving a lesson on steroids as if I had no clue what was involved. He has made drastic improvements on his arms and it is amazing how people will defend how hard they train when others claim it is “all drugs”…but yet here you are screaming just that to someone who has been lifting longer than you and has followed this sport longer than you.

Let the hate flow through you. Don’t let it settle.

zraw looks much better than you and seems to have a much better and realistic understanding of pro bodybuilding so your ‘I’ve been here longer I know what I’m talking about’ is an absolutely meaningless and empty change of subject.

If ANY post is ridiculous, it’s yours. ‘I’ve been here longer’ ‘let the hate flow’
Fucking really?

His arms have improved in proportion with everything else on his body after he turned pro. Actually, his arms improved less than some other bodyparts that he tried to improved more.

You are acting like his arms were a weak bodypart of his and then somehow turned into his best feature when clearly this isnt the case

His arms were ALREADY his best bodypart and ALREADY bigger than everything else. Why would you think he changed something in his routine that made his arm STAY bigger than everything else when EVERY bodypart of his GREW BIGGER AND IMPROVED

Plz go ask your npc competitors friends about routines making an already stand out bodypart stay a stand out bodypart when growing. You always talk about how you’ve been following the sport for so long and know “some guy” yet you sound so fucking lost

PX, you really think out of all the different variables in bodybuilding (drugs, nutrition, training, etc) that Phil Heath’s ROUTINE was what caused him to make the major improvements that he has over these past few years? Especially in this era of chemical bodybuilding?

Jeez, don’t be butthurt, I’m just trying to carry on a debate with you. Justify your idea that Phil Heath has passed Ronnie. Tell me what gave you that idea. I am genuinely interested and not making fun of you. Go for it, brah.

lol at butthurt. not me.

to be honest, once these mutants get to the level of all the guys you mentioned, it is hard for me to tell much difference in them.

I was asking because it seems so many people are going nuts over his size on websites like these. I am trying to develop an “eye” for assessing physiques at this level, i was just curious what others thought.

Hey look Phil Heath in 2003 or something. I wonder what changes he made to his routine so that his arms grew bigger.

Do you not see that his arms were already out of proportion (too big) for the rest of his physique?

Why would you think all of a sudden he changed something so that his arms kept growing

Hey, his delts grew too, so did his chest and legs and lats and traps, I wonder what he changed to his routine

Bet you walked uphill to work during earthquakes too, both ways

Anyway, I don’t see Phil Heath as anywhere near the level of Ronnie aside from being a Mr. O winner but anyone who does think he’s surpassed him is more than welcome to chime in. I would love to hear their reasoning.

? I asked about his routine. What in ANY post I’ve written makes you think I believe his routine alone is why his arms improved?

I asked about volume because of what I have heard from others with regards to steroids and significant progress on the arms. I do believe the real question is why the hell someone who has been lifting as long as I have can’t ask a simple question about his routine without jackasses acting like they know more than everyone else.

The douchebag level on this site has grown out of hand.

Phil Heath looks better by himself than Ronnie, IMO. Also, when alone in a picture, Phil Heath doesnt look “small” so if you were to scale 2 pics to the same size Heath wouldnt look behind Coleman by much if at all, imo

The thing is you would need to resize Ronnie’s pic some for it to fit to the same size as Heath’s pic lol

If you’re such a fucking pro why would you even need to ask about his routine. Go ask your npc steroid users 300lbs behemoth friends what they do when they up the dose and all?!

Read your post and tell me this doesnt come off as you implying his possible routine change plays a big role in his arm improvements.

Its like you are not even aknowledging that everything grew on him

You DID LITERALLY say that the routine had a significant impact on his transformation

'Professor X wrote:

And douchebags? All people said was that at this level, ‘routines’ are the smallest of factors in continued progression. THEN you proceeded to attack everyone and cry about how you’ve been lifting longer than everyone and everyone has ‘hate flowing through them’.

But the website is full of douchebags, right.

? So asking about someone’s routine now means you are clueless? Honestly, this much bitching for a question that simple does’t make you look good.

You seem very emotionally affected by that question.
