Did Heath use a SEO? Maybe.
Can you prove 100% that he did? No.

exactly. lets say, hypothetically, phil heath logs on tnation and admits to SEO use. now what…how would that change the life of the people in here (not you) arguing about it. will they be able to sleep at night. will they be able to say “i told you so”. i dont get what the end goal of all this arguing is. or is it to have the reputation that they know everything and anything about professional bodybuilding even though the majority of people here have never stepped foot on stage. (besides stu and way)

Because i enjoy debating shit related to bodybuilding, i don’t give a shit if i convince Prof X or anyone else that Phil injected his calves.

Some people just enjoy arguing. How does that affect you in any way?
Your whole “look at me I’m so cool and above this and I cant argue about petty shit because I have a life” gimmick (while posting in this thread repeatedly) is a lot more annoying than they are.
I guess what I mean is, the amount of size he has gained on those calves is truly insane just since he went pro. I really want to know what his routine usually is to pull that off. I want to know if he does way more volume now…or if he really is just some genetic freak who stumbled upon 15 extra inches of scar tissue and fat nodules.

That is a fucking long way off from how Phil’s calves looked in that picture.
I have a decent understanding of human anatomy and how muscles contract, I highly doubt that Phil’s calves looked like that just because thats how they look contracted. It doesnt even make sense that they would get thicker and bubble out at the bottom of the calf muscle like that when being contracted.
Not a long way off. And if it is, that just further defines an ANOMALY. Even between anomalies you often don’t find uniformity, thus it’s name.
As an artist, I’ve had extensive anatomy lessons and can draw the human body from my head
from all angles with great accuracy. Along with that training, understanding form within the context of position in space, point of view, and light and shading, my perceptions are pretty damn accurate.
That nodule, or protuberance at the bottom of Phil’s calf while flexed up on his toes looks very similar to the pic of Aaron Baker posted earlier.
In fact, look at the 3 pics above. The top is Phil. The next one is Nasser, who also has the same bulb at the bottom of his calves. The pic below that is Erik Fankhauser. Notice Fank’s odd-looking cleft shape protuberance on the inside bottom of his calves. If viewed from the front in a flexed state, it would look very similar to Phil’s, Aaron’s, and Nasser’s from the same POV.
And again, as I stated earlier, these odd protuberances only show when the gastroc is flexed.

Nasser used hella oil…see attached.

? So, you take one picture of one pose and jump to a conclusion like that?
2 pictures to be exact.
And the fact that i have never seen his calves look like that in any other pic.
I have a hard time believing the angle is what made his calf bulge at the bottom like that.

2011 Sheru Classic.
once again…what the fuck are people talking about?
Once the SEO was absorbed by his body his calves would return to normal. Posting pictures from other shows/guest posing would be pointless because the SEO would be long gone by then anyway. Not to mention you are showing his calves from different angles then the original photo anyway so you can’t even get an accurate comparison shot to the original pic of his calves.
Furthermore if you did post a pic of Phil hitting the same pose from a more recent show and his calves DIDN’T look like that anymore that would only serve as further evidence that it was a SEO because his calves won’t magically change their genetic shape.
So really posting these pics doesn’t further your argument.
? If the pose is why it looks like that along with the angle, that would be why it isn’t shown in other pics.
These pictures posted are from the last Olympia and the Shuru Classic…but you think he started using synthol now?
What show was that picture from?
I posted both major shows he competed in for 2011…while someone posted ONE pic at an angle but no one can find any other pics of all of this synthol.
But hey…clearly he threw in the synthol for that one pic just to fuck with you.
Well considering he isn’t wearing the same posing trunks as the pics you posted im guessing it’s an older pic. So no i don’t think he started using synthol now. Also more then one picture with that odd bulge in his calf was shown so i think the whole fluke photo theory is kind of out the window. Also worth noting both pics were different poses so it wasn’t just the way he was standing/angle of the pic.
With that all in mind posting pictures of his calves a year or more later in different poses won’t really further your argument.
I just posted one from the same year as that pic…and lack of synthol is evident.
Again, why accuse someone of something like that if you can’t find any sign of an oil bolus in other shots?
Once again that isn’t from the same show as the original pictures, also i already told you that a SEO will be absorbed by the body and his calves will return to normal size/shape. So posting pictures from different shows proves nothing especially from different angles where you wouldn’t see it even if it was there.
Lastly if you posted pics from other shows of him in the same or similar poses and his calves didn’t display that odd bulge that would only serve as further evidence that synthol was used.
Clearly this concept is above the doctor’s head so i would stop wasting my time trying to explain it if i were you.
Hey PX can we see more of those awesome photos you’ve been posting that in no way prove your point?

Want2getlean and gregron are making me laugh harder at this thread than i have since the professor X meme thread.

Yeah most guys competing in NABBA up in Scotland are using it (forum won’t let me post links but there is a thread out there where several competitors have documented their use of it and I have had personal testimony from others)… so I have no doubt pros across the pond are. Doesn’t change or influence my opinion of them. Done well it can help the shape of the muscle.
What is this thread about again?

lmao at using Nasser to claim that Pros don’t use oil
Nasser is the most oiled up motherfucker ever
He’s reportdely even leaked on stage
I posted this a few pages back, but here it is again
"When we talk about the use of synthol, I know a lot of people, from the local to pro shows, and 95% of all athletes in amateur and pro ranks are using synthol. I know judges using synthol or with silicon calves
I would like to give you a general answer - I don’t know anybody in the sport who is in any way successful - who did not experience synthol. Synthol use is as common as using a toothpaste for everyone in this world." - Nasser
and he said this in a magazine (not sure if I can post the name)
“I will go on record as saying every competitor there was using Synthol somewhere”
regarding the 2005 Europa

So, what about natties? If there isn’t a piss test or whatever for SEO, it would seem even more beneficial for a tested guy. But, it kinda violates the whole concept of being a natty. Is it as prevalent there?

That’s a good question. I don’t follow natty bodybuilding closely so I’m not sure how prevalent it is in those circles. Stu, Thoughts, or Evan might have more to say.
I’d imagine you lose many of the benefits of the SEO by not being hormonized and having the “extra resources” so to speak to actually fill the space the oil creates with new muscle tissue.
Phil Heath is jacked btw.
