Phil Heath

Who are these ‘trolls’ that keep getting referred to? Those with different opinions? Be specific, name some names, give reasons for why you call them trolls.

All I see is some people getting upset because their favorite IFBB pros are being outed for all of their drug use habits. When Jay Cutler (unpopular on most forums) had a torn bicep during the Olympia it was okay to speculate about his SEO use but it’s not okay to do the same for Phil Heath?

Try opening your eyes and not being so close-minded.

@zraw: Anyone who doesn’t understand the power of drugs need only look at your weekly avatar changes…

Now scale that up to IFBB dosages and add different drugs and you’ll see why Phil Heath grew the way he did in as short a time as he did.

What is the fuss with what zraw initially stated?

Phil is blessed with good arms genetics and they evidently grew the most on him compared to other bodyparts

Add drugs (new/better/more) to the equation and you would expect them to grow even bigger and more out of proportion

His arms are mind blowing but not as impressive as his overall growth and his ability to go from being ‘all arms’ to a more balanced physique.

If he had taken his quads from what they were to Paul DeMayo freak status I could see how his routine could have been THE major factor but we are talking about his arms there were never lagging?

I am not sure if reading comprehension is the problem or a willfull desire to derail threads.

I asked about Phil’s routine. I don’t need a lecture in steroid use. If some of you think any of us somehow are unaware of steroid use, I am not sure what you are smoking.

No one needed some debate about Phil’s fucking growth patterns over the years when all that was being asked was his fucking routine. No one needed the intense expressed to desire to apparently discuss steroids in nearly every thread on the first page of this forum for some reason.

So far, some 17 year old bodybuilder HAS TO BE ON STEROIDS, Phil HAS TO BE USING SYNTHOL, and tons of other “truths” have been shouted from the rafters…and many respected members seem to be getting fed up with the attitude.

I mean, seriously, more people have to speak up?

Against what?
All I see is people posting, but one group of people going ‘Baw baw baw everything is terrible T Nation is going to the shitter baw baw haterz’ when they bring absolutely nothing relevant to the table other than being buddies with eachother and there’s not even anything to be crying about.

‘haterz forum going to shit haterz baw baw, masterplan to make haterz look bad’

Jesus. Noone gives a fuck whether these people stay here or not, but they want anyone who disagrees with them or says something they don’t like ‘banned’. I swear there are fucking autistic children here.

There’s nothing wrong with what zraw said, this reaction is ridiculous

I said this in the irish kids thread I evidently feel the same

How can you definitely know whether or whether not he’s using?
Acne? there are tonnes of teens in my gym that by this logic with the amount of bacne they have they should be the size of jay cutler.
We accept that some people are born smarter, born better sprinters, born stronger, born with frigging bigger breasts or bigger knobs lol but can’t accept that some may just have better genetics to pack on more muscle quicker than others?
If your first comment is along the lines of ‘he’s obviously using’ then it just shows insecurity/jealousy
My point was that what was stated wasn’t wrong cause the point is valid.

If anything, its the motive and intentions to prove you wrong after any questionable post you make in a thread and this ‘T-Nation beef’ that should be being argued for 13 pages and not the point that was initially made.

At the end of the day the point from the opposing set of posters isn’t wrong and if the initially point that was made against the significance of routines was stated by a different poster this thread wouldn’t have gone downhill.

We’ve gone from talking about people with the potential to challenge Phil Heath and how long the ‘Heath’ era may last to this!

Nah, I think he’s just mad that people said that synthol use is widespread (despite noone insulting anyone for using it), and he’s mad that someone would imply his hero Philsulina would ever touch the stuff.

I mean, just look at the man. He has supreme genetics! Look at the supreme genetics on that left calf!

Question for mods/admins:

Are these forums managed such that you can ban people at the forum level? For example, there are some trolls who seem to find pleasure in derailing Bodybuilding topics. Can you ban them from Bodybuilding only (versus banning from the whole site)?

There’s certainly no problems with disagreement or even heated debate in the forums, but 100% dickery trolling in the BB forum should be, uh, discouraged. Some of us are here to learn.
Not sure you’re addressing my case but im guessing you are.
How do you think seeing Phil Heath routine is gonna make you learn

3sets preacher curl
3sets inclined db curl
3sets concentration curls

If bullshit was being said I would agree with you but this thread is actually pretty informative. You guys just seem to like to keep this to : the training and nutrition are the only elements that will affect your results along with genetic and steroids will only make the program and nutrition progression better

Sorry but steroids, hgh, slin, synthol are all means of PROGRESSION for competitive bodybuilders

And no im not talking out of my ass without having any sources to say these things
Wtf? Are you high?
There were so many smart ways to reply and yet you chose this.
And that was still more than was worth my time. kthxbyenow.

Do you even follow bodybuilding? Have you any idea about the freaky calves of past greats like Mike Matarazzo or Dorian Yates?? And today have you seen Eric Fankhouser’s calves? These guys are anomalies. Nature shows examples of this all the time.

I agree. I am also not sure why they need to accuse someone of it or why it is being discussed in this thread.

Looking at a picture at an angle of someone flexing while carrying the size these guys are and jumping to conclusions like this isn’t exactly doing anyone any favors.

lol? yates and fankhouser have normal shaped calves, very well developed, but normal shaped nonetheless.

matarazzo may have had implants or something, but he still didnt have those weird bumps on the side. those look like blatant injection spots, you’re delusional if you think otherwise.

Lets set this straight.

Only Greg Valentino used synthol. NONE OF TODAY’S OR PAST PROS DID

As far as steroid is concerned, standard dosages are 500mg test e + a kickstart oral following a time on = time off protocol. Some extreme guys like Ruhl might even add low dose trenbolone, but rarely will anyone dare this

hgh is used only for injury recovery

insulin is a myth, or used only by diabetic bodybuilders

Carry on

I’m confused…are some of these posters truly clueless enough to think that because we don’t go around accusing everyone of synthol use that we think it isn’t used?

They are ridiculous enough to believe that since we aren’t making steroids the primary focus that this means we think they have little impact?

I feel like a bunch of 3rd graders are trying to take the rest of us to school lately.

dafuq are you blabbering on about? No one is denying synthol or steroid use, and none of the pros have been suddenly “outed” to any of us here - this shit is common knowledge. Some of us are just more interested in training routines, diet and lifestyle.

No one is claiming that those things are the be all and end all individually and no one is denying the significant effects of steroids or synthol. People are just trying to have a damn conversation without “DAH STERONZ” being shouted every five minutes, and after all there’s a whole fucking subforum devoted to steroids.

You know I’m actually interested in watching Phil train or understanding more about how he trains arms and switches up his routines - not because I think it’s the secret ingredient or the magic ticket to getting huge - but because it’s INTERESTING.

What’s NOT interesting is people like you claiming that somehow this means I’m denying steroid use in bodybuilding or convinced that if only I had the magic routine I’d win the O.
