Persistent Guy's Training Log Continues

1x2: deadlift 229 kg

Left shoulder still sore, especially when lifting my arms overhead, so…

2x11, 1x10: front squat 103 kg

Shoulder slowly getting better.

1x6: deadlift 193 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
1x2: deadlift 229 kg

Oh, and forgot to log Monday.

15x1: front squat 133 kg
3x10: pullup
3x12: db floor press 42 kg

15x1: front squat 135 kg
3x10: pullup

Pullups don’t seem bad for the shoulder, only pressing.

3x12: front squat 103 kg
3x10: pullup

1x6: deadlift 189 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
1x1: deadlift 229 kg
1x3, 7x2: pullup 16 kg

Sick with some kind of food poisoning, thought I’d try lifting anyway and go a bit lighter. On the bright side, left shoulder’s definitely doing better, feeling close to normal.

12x1: front squat 129 kg
3x10: pullup

Feeling definitely less sick today, but not quite back to normal yet. Good news is I weighed 94.6 kilos today so at least not eating much for a few days hasn’t made me lose much weight.

3x10: front squat 105 kg

So, basically back to normal, finally. Might take a week off, now, though. Got family visiting.

1x6: deadlift 189 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
1x1: deadlift 229 kg
3x12: db floor press 42 kg
3x10: pullup

Did take a week off.

1x6: deadlift 189 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
1x1: deadlift 229 kg
3x12: db floor press 42 kg
2x3, 6x2: pullup 16 kg

I really like your training log. You are very strong, your pullups are amazing, especially considering your bodyweight. Like the fact that you grow your own herbs and veggies also. Do you have the link to your old training log?

Thanks

Sam

Sure, here’s the first page of the old log, which I started a few months after I started lifting. The weights I use sure have gotten bigger over the past seven years…

Right now in my garden I’ve got edible red and white currants, gooseberries, wild strawberries, sorrel, cornsalad and a bit of watercress.

Today so far:

15x1: front squat 129 kg

Got a singer coming over to record sound effects for some animation she’s doing for art school in a half hour, hopefully that won’t take too long and I’ll be able to do some upper body lifts later this evening.

I am still reading your old log. It is gold dust. Amazing dedication and consistency. The hard work has paid of because
your as strong as I am aspiring to be.

Thanks, though there’s no shortage of people stronger than me around here.

And, since that singer only took about an hour, upper body:
