1x15: deadlift 149 kg
1x3, 2x2: pullup 36 kg

Back to normal. Still feeling totally fine.

Back didn’t feel great doing warmup squats ATG, so I did them off the sawhorses instead so it’s just to parallel, but went slowly and tried to set each rep down very gently to make them a bit more challenging.

Not only is my back feeling fine, so is my middle left toe which was quite bloody yesterday evening. That’s what I get for carrying stuff down the stairs and being too lazy to turn on the light, heh.

Normal.

3x10: pullup

3x12: front squat 79 kg

2x10: double pause deadlift 139 kg

1x12, 2x10: Zercher squat 109 kg
3x5: military press 75 kg
1x20: seated db press 12 kg

Trying a different finisher for a change. Probably not a bad idea, but should go a bit heavier.

Those are good sets on your military press.

Thanks.

Yesterday was busy so I didn’t log it, but:

1x10: deadlift 169 kg
1x3, 2x2: pullup 36 kg
3x10: pullup

Weighed myself after the pullups and scale said 84.5 kilos so that’s a double bodyweight deadlift for 10 reps. Wouldn’t have gotten there if I hadn’t felt the need to take a dump after the warmup sets, though.

And today:

2x13, 1x12: front squat 79 kg
2x8, 1x7: db floor press 44 kg
1x12: db floor press 36 kg
1x15: military press 49 kg

Just 2 kg more on each dummbell, but that’s still well over 10% so a significant difference.

Should probably go lighter on these weighted pullups and do them with cleaner form, though.

Didn’t mean to do a heavier set of floor presses there, just put one too many 2 kg plates on there and didn’t realize it until about four reps into the first working set.

Did the weighted pullups with proper form and full extension at the bottom. Which really is the only right way… and I’m way too old to be cheating just to feed my ego.

No upper body lifts due to the goofiest injury I have managed to inflict on myself to date… mixed some powder for making salsa this afternoon, a few hours later decided to open the can and take a good sniff to see if it’s too cilantroy or something… sneezed, of course, but managed to sneeze so hard that my left oblique cramped painfully, and while it felt OK doing the squats, doing the unilateral floor presses not so much, and I decided to stop after a few reps before I end up with a serious tear or something.

Warmed up on Wednesday, decided my side doesn’t really hurt but feels like it’s smarter to let it heal, tried pullups but those weren’t any better, and just decided to try a couple of days off. Today things feel a tight but not stabby or painful, so…

2x8: double pause deadlift 149 kg
3x8: bentover row 89 kg
1x12: bentover row 69 kg

Side’s feeling completely normal when lifting, though I do feel it when I sneeze so not 100% yet.
