Periodization Help for Beginner

You would probably do better with two 6 week strength phases instead.

Like I said, there are a lot of different ways to arrange your training, the key is to make it work for you. You might even be better off training 4-5 days a week but doing less in each session. The only programs I can think of that fit what you are looking for are Korte 3x3 or the old Norwegian programs, you can find the on the Norway PL site, you will need google translate though. The thing with those programs is they are a ton of volume per session and will take several hours, the Norwegians don’t even train like that anymore because they found that less volume per session and more frequent training works better for them.

Your best bet is to find something that looks appealing and appropriate, run the program and see how it goes and make adjustments from there.

Thanks man. You’re awesome.

I’ll consider all of this you’ve told me and check the programs you recommended and will see what I can conjure up. You’ve been great help.

I really appreciate the time you took to help me.
