technically ties PR but a) I wanted 3! and b) I completely messed up the second rep. Did a weird unintentional t&g rep because I was too excited. Hips rose and lost tension in the hamstrings. Got rid of my chace to go for a third that way.
1 @ 200 kg
while setting up I noticed out of the brink of my eye that a mate on the incline bench was fighting to keep the bar of his face which was stuck there a few centimeters away from bis head. Lots of people around, apparently none of them touched enough by his struggle, so I had to stop setting up and run over. Obviously messed with my focus and grinded out this one rep.
2 banded deadlifts
3 x 3 @ 120 kg + band tension

3 x 6-8 @ stack
4 dead stop hip thrusts (barbell)
3 x 8 @ 150 kg - Hit target musculatur very good.
Notes:
I was super angry with myself after this one and got pretty down. I get into my head very easily as you all know
on paper the same effort as last time but I wanted more and execution was worse plus it felt worse. Welp, need to get over it anyway

Notes:
farmer’s walk and log with deadlifts back to back: YOLO!
this was a drastic contrast to the deadlift training. Felt euphoric after! Really good to hit contest weight (for the second show)
the first lane of the farmer’s walk top set was very solid. The second pick was super hard but that’s fine only one day after heavy deadlifts.
do you guys remember how hard I chased the 100 kg log last year? I topped out at 97,5 kg. Now I am hitting it for sets and reps. Happy times! Need to work a lot on the clean though. Didn’t do a lot of clean practise yesterday though to spare my back.
